I love all your videos! You explain everything about nutrition in such an accurate way!
Thanks Joanna - it's great to hear the hormone aspect as well. Cortisol = your stress hormone. More stress = your body holds onto fat differently. As a university student, I experienced the largest weight loss when I attended yoga (this was the only exercise I did). The relaxation and deep breathing did my body so much good. Unfortunately, stress reduction isn't something most people think about when it comes to weight loss. But it's so important!

This is my first time viewing your video and I subscribed to you, because you are the most thought provoking on how we can not only lose weight, but help maintain weight and the science behind your exercises. I am 56 years old and I always worked on a regular basis well into my late 40's , but when I slack off the fifty pounds came on with a large belly fat. I love what you are doing please keep up the good work, and continued to spread the knowledge. Thank you Joanna.
This is an excellent video, thank you so much. I have been battling my pouch for many years and attempts to lose weight have been futile. I really liked the clear and concise approach in this video, excellent explanation and format.

I was going on a low carb diet, i noticed a difference, but after that it stopped and i noticed it was because of the stress, thank you this was so helpful to me :)

thanks a lot Joanna, I just discovered your channel and I love your videos a lot. Thanks a lot for the work you put on this channel. well I have a problem with belly fat, every single part of my body is normal and look great except my belly. it's not huge but it's noticeable. i thought as simple as eating less by any chance will solve the problem and i started doing that this week but this video made it look rather complex. i will try to follow what you said although i am not quite sure what to eat and how exactly i should manage my horomons.
Great information :) thank you!
Joanna, I am a new subscriber, and I am loving your channel so far. I just watched the 3 rules for losing weight without dieting, and I have a quick question. When do you recommend I work out? I only have belly fat, and actually am in need of gaining weight in the lower part of the body, so I am doing exercises to achieve that. I am about to watch your videos on love handles and belly workouts etc, so if you have any advices - I will be happy to hear them. Thank you all the way from Bulgaria :)

This is really helpful thank you so much
Hi Joanna. I would just like to say thank you so much. This time last year I began developing an eating disorder and trying to starve my body, but then I would succumb to cravings and binge eat on unhealthy foods. I stumbled across your channel later last year when I was looking for a way to burn calories fast, in case I binged, but instead I found your channel. It has helped me to start a healthier lifestyle and keep me focus on being healthy and happy rather than the number on the scale. Thank you so, so much, I don't know where I'd be without you. -Annie x
Excellent video!
Explained it wonderfully 😀
Great info Joanna! Thank u !
Can you attempt to do a "what to eat" video? One that shows the "lower carb" dieting without getting too low in carbs as you've mentioned. A visual of that would help tremendously. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for all of your videos , but I'm just wondering how can I know that am I exercise enough or what type of method (eat less exercise less or eat more exercise more ) that I was . I do workouts about 4-6 days a week 30 minutes for each time . so could you tell me what's kind of method that I did or should I do less or more . thank you :)))
Hi Joannah , Iliked your exsercises and I fallowed them but on 1st day i have a great pain on my both legs whole day so what you say about this ?
If you're reading his Joanna, I'm struggling with your exercises a little, I need something basic to start off with. I have fibromyalgia and hypermobility syndrome and I'm overweight in a spiral and getting the balance right is tough but I'm motivated to get there. If you could share advice or point me to useful videos, that would be much appreciated
Hello Joanna Soh. I have a few questions. You recommend eating 3 meals a day which I can assume are breakfast, lunch and dinner but snacks are also "allowed" right? Like the mid morning snack or post workout snack and the afternoon snack or are you sying that a person should only eat 3 times a day in order to lose belly fat? Another question I would like to ask is about something highly debated: fruit and smoothies. If our main goal is to stay healthy, lean and lose belly fat should a person limit fruit consumption? I'm vegan and what I see a lot on the internet are vegans defending "eat how much fruit you want" but then I also see some saying we shouldn't. Honestly I would like to believe we should eat fruit freely but I'm not sure about how much is too much if there is such a thing, specially if I want to lose belly fat. Finally, do you see a smoothie as a meal replacement or just as a snack or as a good breakfast? Thanks. Hope you see this :)
