I had no idea there was a spring action either. Thank you!

Hi cannadia this video its top Thanks swiss- Druck
I just got mine today. Could not get filament to advance out of the ARM. I got it into the initial opening but seems to get stuck before exiting out the back into the PTFE tube
When I do it it goes “brrrrrrrr” and won’t catch
I use the printed spool edges for my Polymaker filament as the edges started wearing away and would sometimes slip on the rollers. I am pretty certain the Bambu Lab filament is the same as Polymaker as I have the red and green in both brands and I can't tell any differences between the two, apart from the price and the RFID tags, I might even re-spool the Polymaker to the Bambu spools once they are empty
Great video, to the point with no fluff like I like it. I'm considering getting an AMS for my printer also. If I remember right a while back I think bambu Labs recommends not using cardboard spools for the AMS. Have you had any trouble with using cardboard spools? I'm asking this because all of my filaments that I've used the last 2 years are on cardboard spools. Thanks!

If the cardboard spool is damaged it could cause issues rolling, otherwise it works fine. Make sure the size of the spool fits the AMS.

@@3DPrintingCanada Ok, thanks for the reply, do you have any problems with your printer disconnecting from your network constantly? I've had my P1S for 2 weeks and it disconnected every 15 minutes requiring me to retype the pin in each time to reconnect it. I'm thinking it could be a firmware issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day!

cardboard is not adviced because it causes dust build up on die mechanics after long use with cardboard as it te cardboard will wear out inspecial if using alot of color switching prints you can print rings to cover te edges or even screwable holders just to but around them

@@g.mschoonheidfernandeslama1522 Great advice, I've spent a lot of time tweaking the print settings to get my pet-g to print very well and I really don't feel like going through that process again just to use plastic spools. I'll print these rings and continue using my current brand of pet-g. Thanks!
