Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Join Dan Mink, The Rhinestone Roper and multiple World Champion winner, as he teaches THE ARROWHEAD ROPE TRICK. Many Cowboys and Cowgirls have learned the BUTTERFLY. The next step is to take the butterfly to the opposite side and back to form a Butterfly that goes in a "V" shape. Dan shows you how it's done.

So what is going on when your lope gets smaller? I’m trying to figure this out but I’m struggling.

Hi Charles, It probably means that as you are crossing over on the front side or crossing under on the back side, you are not providing enough circular momentum with your wrist. Actually, this is a difficult trick to maintain a consistent loop. So, try a little more speed and a bit more circle with your wrist. Good luck. Dan

When the loop gets smaller, your honda is slipping away from your hand. This is probably because you have too much of a downward motion at the bottom of your circles. So think of making smoother circles. It may also be that your honda is too heavy for the size of loop you are practicing butterfly with. making smoother circles is the first remedy.
