Great job brother. I just bought a 2021 dlx 20 fishing barge. I love it. Had a 2013 bass buggy before and so happy with the upgrade. You do a hell of a job.

I have a 2019 dix fishing barge with a 60hp on it and it gets up to about 19 mph with two people on it. Biggest pro is very easy on gas and biggest con is it is not a rough water boat because of low fencing, Over all we are very happy with our boat.

Thanks for the overview. I have the 2010 version of this pontoon (Party Barge 20 Classic Series). I keep it stored inside our first floor garage bay at our lake house so it's in great shape. Like it so much I decided to keep the pontoon but repower from current 50HP (tops out around 18mph w/o Bimini up and light load) to a 90HP (good to hear yours tops out around 30mph).

I'm looking for a pontoon for my dad, mostly. He is a cancer survivor, two time widower, Special Forces Sgt. Major with bad feet from chemo. To be able to provide him with a pontoon for whenever he wants would be a dream. He deserves it and I want to make it happen. Thanks for the info. I am leaning towards this model, as it seems to have everything without being gaudy

Mr. Smith, Don't know your financial situation but the 16 and 18 ft Bass Buggy--by Bass Tracker--are nice. The 16 with a 50 Merc and the 18 with a 60 Merc. Either would be easy to handle and tow. We have a Bass Buggy 18 DLX with a 60 Merc--22 mph wide open at 6000 rpm. Ours is a 2021 and we are both over 70. Only thing I would change is not buy their mooring cover. Too hard to use. Nice for fishing or just kick'n back and cruising at 10-15 mph. For more real info check our Ryanvision on youtube. He has some real good videos on the Bass Buggy.

Howdy partner! Thank you! I was just checking out your channel - you've got some great videos! I love the positive energy! I really liked the Fishin' Barge 20, but it was too large to launch at the 3 dirt ramps near my house. It takes a few feet to float it off the trailer. I think it could be perfect for you, best of luck and thanks again for watching!

Great video but I've run into a problem for the correct installation of my starting battery! My 2017 20 DLX seems to be identical to yours except mine has a 75 Mercury 4 stroke! I am a 100% disable veteran with heart failure which condition had gotten worst soon after purchasing the pontoon (only used 4 times with less than three hours on the engine) With no use ;all batteries died over the years! I lately began to feel somewhat better and wants to go fishing so great nephew decided to replace the three batteries; no problem with trolling batteries but the starting battery is a head ache not all of the cables to attach to the battery are color coded! So and help you might provide would be greatly appreciated !

Howdy, partner! First, thank you for your service and I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. Without seeing the cables it is tough to gauge how to hook up properly. You might call a Battery store (or the place where you got the new batteries) and ask them if you get the boat there if they can help you hook it up. Best of luck to you!

I keep hearing Sun Tracker doesn’t hold up well in salt water. What is your opinion?
@MRGREGSHOWTO
3 жыл бұрын
I think it will hold up just fine so long as you wash it thoroughly and flush the motor after each use. Although I have heard that saltwater corrosion may void the factory warranty - so I would definitely look into that. Best of luck!
