Excellent video, Caroline! I love that one doesn’t have to purl and that the pattern doesn’t curl.

Thank you so much! Happy knitting❣️
I have made a cowl in this stitch and I treat it as reversible because I equally like how both sides look! But I wish I had seen your superb tutorial before I made it though, it would have made things so much easier!

WOW! Thank you. I will be knitting a afghan that uses a garter stitch border. I think I will use this garter stitch for the border. 😁
Ooh, I do like this one - and can imagine it as a lovely pattern for the front of mittens or the top of socks too.

Please could you suggest a suitable border for this pattern as I wish to make a baby blanket. I do not want to do garter stitch. Thought of moss but the two might look too busy together?
Lovely stitch, but in continental style, you did not knit the last stitch through the back loop on the first row. Is there a reason for that?
@sowoolly

Thank you! Yep, I didn’t do it because it wasn’t the first row in my swatch, and I forgot. However, I work the last stitch always through the back loop on the first row, no matter if I’m knitting English or Continental 😉
What yarn are you using when you’re walking us through the rows? It’s a beautiful color

Can you make a video doing this pattern in crochet? Thank you I wish I had learned to knit. I’m disabled and it’s easier for me to crochet because it’s one hook and limited mobility

Hello! I’m sorry, I don’t know how to, I just knit 🤗
Hello Caroline 👋 I just love this pattern. Would I be able to do this pattern on a baby cardigan 😊thank you. I'm new to your channel. You explain your patterns so well 😊 I'm an experienced knitter. My mum bought me my first knitting set when I was 10 years old but I'm a little slower these days because of the pain in my hands ✋️ but I still enjoy doing baby cardigans ext 😊 thank you ❤

@sowoolly Good evening 🙏 from a cold UK 🇬🇧 thank you for your kind message. I always knit with straight knitting needles. I only knit with circle needles if I have to. The size of the baby cardigan is 18ins or 46cm. Thank you so much Dawn 💓 💗 xx
How would we do this in the round, for a hat?
