How to Knit: the 2nd Stitch BEFORE the 1st Stitch | C2B & C2F 2-Stitch Cables Without a Cable Needle

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This knitting lesson shows you how to knit narrow C2F (1/1 LC) and C2B (1/1 RC) cables, which are created by passing one stitch over another.
Using the method of working the second stitch before the first stitch allows you to avoid the use of a cable needle, which can be awkward and time consuming.
Note that the technique I show for making a C2F cable results in a twisted knit stitch being passed behind a regular knit stitch. This shouldn't be a problem because it's hidden from view, but if you really wanted to avoid having a twisted stitch you could instead take your right-hand needle into the front of the 2nd st to knit it (by going from the back, between the 1st and 2nd stitches), before then knitting the 1st stitch as you normally would.
I hope you find this helpful!
