This is a short video on how to create a 3-stitch button hole. This video shows how to create a buttonhole in one row. This is a simple bind off and cast on.
*Steps*
Get to the point where you want to add the button hole.
Bring yarn to the front. Reinforce the hole by slipping one stitch to the other needle. Move yarn to the back again.
Bind off 3 stitches without using the yarn.
Turn over. Move stitch to the other needle. Move yarn to back. Cast on 3 + 1 stitches using cable cast on.
Turn work over once again. Move yarn to the back. Reinforce hole by slipping stitch to the other needle. Then bind off that stitch by slipping other stitch over that stitch.
You have created the hole.
