I try to use journalist for a couple months , as far as i noticed kiting geisha while cancelling her butterfly and also try to place orphy is kinda hard for me since cancelling butterfly with the tap button made survivor changed their PoV and when placing orphy you need to look at the front . Not to mention about obstacles stucking you while you look back 😭( try to cancel geishas dash )

Yes, correct! 😆👌 Only people that actually dedicating time to play as Journalist will understand the whole situation, when we are going to place orphy we have to look at the front (like aiming orphy to pallet or whatever direction we want, also need to pay attention on foot print) meanwhile cancelling geisha dash need to click other button and changing POV to seeing Geisha hahaha. So it's different situation let say if we compare with Cowboy skill, when we about to lasso to hunter (aiming to hunter) cowboy can still click anti dash button for geisha because it has same POV, same like when using Thief, they can use the flashlight to stun geisha while still clicking the anti dash button.

Every time I bring tide I am usually the first kite, when I bring broken windows or flywheel etc the hunter ignores me for the whole match.

You kited for so long on the 1st match ngl, and I've never seen this kind of bug before, feel bad for Bleber 😩 but it's awesome that you still keep your head cool and keep kiting when detention is available while waiting Bleber to log in back, and perfect flywheel by Bleber at the end. 2nd match, Bleber's kiting is awesome, nice to see that he's still consistently using cowboy even after adjustment , and the moment when you kited on late game is really awesome too! Really respect player that can kite for so long with tide! GG!

My first s tier was journalist’s eternity (and my most favourite s tier) at first because I was new to the game I would struggle a lot to play her so I ended up just not playing her. But now I’ve learned how to play her and I play her almost all the time I love her she’s really fun and I’m really happy I get to use her beautiful s tier 😭 congrats for the s badge!

I was playing as journalist too on rank today and when I try to bodyblock myself before I vault the window...this Nightmare hit my Orphy and then it bugs my camera and I can't spawn Orphy XD. I was confused why my camera still 3 and the button just stuck like that. But atleast we won.

Learning to use journalist from you! I play with my sisters and usually the rescuer with 36 (even if not journo, i take up 69 and give them headsup to sacrifice me if needed) When kiting geisha tho, i never try to canceal (i get downed fast cuz i can't body block with orphy efficiently 🥲 I tend to do instant bodyblock with orphy if she dashed to me tho

Regarding the cipher rush, if there was a strong support like batter is it fine to go towards their cipher ?

Did you mean : Batter is coming to 1st chase and trying to assist 1st chase, so you come to Batter's cipher machine to continue? If yes then sure do it 👍 Same like let say forward, cowboy, or wildling go to assist 1st chase, so they left their current cipher right, so then you continue their cipher.

​@@mikmikluvsminmin ok so they kiting route is near with your first cipher? Yup can assist a bit if they alrd injured (1/2 health), if full health then let them kite a bit for a while, tell them to leave the location because it will slow down your cipher progress

This video’s alternative title could be my name 😂 I don’t like being rescuer because I struggle to kite with tide. But no one else wants to be rescuer so I know I need to get better or risk most of my games being no tide carriers which has been happening a lot lately. And I don’t have an issue playing a rescuer I just don’t want to be bad at it 🥲😅

look behind whenever you kite a hunter, especially hunter that have aiming skill like hermit and gamekeepr etcs . so you can see their aiming and you have to use abit of your iq to move away or try predict if they will hook you on your way and avoid that direction

Sure sure. 1) gamekeeper will try to spread all traps since early game on many good kiting spot like beside pallet or window, if you're not 1st chase then once you see a trap make sure to dismantle (be careful when coming closer, you can click walk and come slowly before dismantling) 2) when gamekeeper is chasing you they always gonna try to use the hook the take you near him and hit you right, make sure to look back when you wanna dodge the hook (same like when you are trying to dodge fog blade) 3) as journalist you can use orphy to body block the chain hook too, so it will keep distance with you and the hunter 4) when gamekeeper is quite close with you, kiting near place with many walls or obstacles also will be helpful to survivor (you can dodge the hook while going back to walls or obstacles) 5) don't go to open space especially running straight forward = super bad when facing him, because the aim for hook will be way much easier on open space *additional : use earphone, so you can listen better, like when he's putting trap while you're kiting (so you can avoid that spot and transition to other spot), also you can hear when he is going to use the hook (swinngin / aiming sound), you also can hear the failed hook sound, and like always other things like trait sound (peeper, tele, abnormal, etc.) Good luck!

Smooth brain here, what's the point of Tide Turner? I don't play competitive very much, but my experience has just been that you rescue, the person gets hit and runs around for a while, and then they drop again and get chaired anyway.

It's both free 20 seconds of decode and repositioning for the downed survivor (like if they got down in an area with no more pallets/it's very open with nothing to run to and they will just instantly die again/basement which is really bad) packed into one.

Yes yes correct. The point is to waste hunter time on 20seconds. For 1st rescue better do "clean rescue" like no body block and let the tide works, split up after rescue, so for 2nd rescue the same rescuer can go for rescue then body block just like what I did here on 2nd match ☺ well unless there are other person that bring tide then we can let them rescue, the decision to body block or no is also depends on so many factor like how many ciphers left. *if you don't have any tide turner, better don't go for basement rescue (if down fast) especially from hunter that has strong camping like hastur, bon bon, sculptor, ann etc. But if it's not basement, you can go for rescue then body block (if you don't hv tide) For more detail info about rescuing tips is available on this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZZZ5rc-betq5qLQ.htmlsi=E5gLZv1BaTtFy2AZ Good luck!
