The eel was easy lol, the meg I did a different way and tool it out with basically zero damage :) Don't with any boss stay on the raft, keep the raft close at hand but always be in the water and sticking close as possible to the water boss marker as you can :)

@@DeanNutz that one took a min to realize :) Same as for getting a shark by a shipwreck :) Meg is Feeding on nasty whale, ok, ram the raft up on the whale body, have everything for ammo with you and run/jump to the wrecked boat and keep tucked up beside it. The meg will for the part do its best, but 95% of the time spent is just turning it into a porcupine lol :) Did this method with all bosses :) The squid, got the back of raft on Bowie and and dropped anchor, the raft won't stay on lol, but it's now tethered to it :) it's not floating away :)

@@DeanNutz I think you have covered them all ready in your videos tbh. Toolbelts are a must, use name changer to easily name and sort boxes, save often, anchor or beach your raft to not lose it, save potatoes to make fuel later on, a smoker is very valuable and will stop meat from spoiling, after killing boar dont turn too fast as they will glitch out on you, use 4 sails pointed in different directions on raft for easier movability instead of a rudder, use the flashlight to easily see the poisonous starfish when entering or leaving the sea.

If you pull a small raft up between the upturned hull and the net and get your sail caught on the beam between them, megalodon will not jump out of the water. Free shots for days.

You can place a bed on raft to an save before you fight

Has anchor at front of boat, but refuses to use it lol they work great

I know this video is old but I tried your tips and they didn't work...is it a patch thing?? Did they make it harder?? I hugged the sail just like you said and the Meg kept jumping at me anyway...Am I doing something wrong??

I don’t understand the bosses. What do you get for defeating them? My starting island is literally within eye sight of the air craft carrier with the plane on it. Can I leave without defeating them?

Do you need to build a platform or something to get to the top of the aircraft carrier? I went there early just to check it out. Couldn’t get up without doing some acrobatics and that was a little hard so I stopped before I broke a bone haha

@@Bdashrock187 further on in the game you will have plenty of parts to build the little helicopter. I used that to bring parts, food, fuel, and water rather quickly. I basically only used my raft to gather supplies from other islands.

ok the Eel was easy... you just stay on top of the ship on the surface and stay away from his head, attack his tail... or go underwater in the balcony area of the ship where it cant attack you... took around 30 speargun ammo...

I do not know if they updated the game or I am doing something horribly wrong but I’ve tried keeping my back against the buoy and get killed quickly. I’m on an Xbox One and the anchor works at the boss fights. I managed to kill the other two bosses but this one kills me so fast I hardly have any damage to it before I am killed. I did find that I can trigger the start of the fight by parking my raft against the buoy and then shooting the air gun down into the water from the deck of the raft. I manage to get a few hit points against the squid before it drags me off of my raft. Thus far, I’ve used 5 bandages in every fight and that is not enough. Does anybody know if the Beam Team adjusted the game so that the squid can attack you even with your back against the buoy?

The Meg sail trick doesn’t work at all... I’ve just tried it and it kept jumping out the water through the sail and getting me 🤷🏻‍♂️

It used to take a bed on raft to save before doing it. Then try getting close to raft under it like with the other ones Or the sunken boat there should be an area it works

Bro it took my 30min to kill the squid because I ran out of spears and when I finished him and went to my island to safe the game crashed 🤦‍♂️

Crude Spears do the same damage as Speargun arrows - so, easy to convert. Problem is that 1 slot = 4 crude spears = 24 speargun arrows. Much more efficient to bring along speargun vs crude spears, or you'll probably be swimming out to get your spears back :)

Tried this method and it didn’t work so tried method in comments which didn’t make much sense but again failed…. Got hit off wreck and fell in and came up under wreck in air pocket….. SUCCESS!!! 100% can’t get bitten or attacked so killed shark within a minute as it just keeps swimming under and around you!!!!

You missed one trophy, beat the game without using Compass its actually easy, easy to navigate and finding boss, if you lost on another island go to save at your sleeping bag and exit the main menu, and go to Cartographer which island you on. So bad

Pro tip : USE A FUCKING ANCHOR

what your hunting skill level? Counting the spears when the refined spears do more damage then spears gun and crude spears makes the count pointless. 19 refined spears Or 33 spears gun spears. Hitting him In water seems to so more dame then out of water for some reason.

@@DeanNutz I speed run the game through solo today and completed it with no issues. Guess online worlds are way more broken and sometimes unbeatable that ur better off playing solo if u want to get to the ending
