I'm goofy and I'm doing it the exact way your showing ... however I'm using my front foot to flip the board and I'm landing to normal not fakie .. will try to do it to fakie next time :) Love all your videos Jonny keep them going !! Aw and I learnd the toe flip last week after your tutorial it took me 5 tries haha so much fun :)

Just got the new drip deck today and learned backside heels. Its the most symmetrical deck ive ever owned. Very little difference between nose and tail.

Earlier today I was trying to show my friend how to do this without really knowing myself, showing a similar foot position and pretty much first try he made the board do a total varial flip or something else and landed with only one foot on the board we went crazy but he wasn’t able to do it again, we both can’t kickflip or anything fancy at all so it was quite surprising for us.

This is also pretty easy (and fun!) to do with a body varial...

Yo man, can u try to show the kickback too? It is pretty similar with oldschool kickflip in the way to kick the board, but diffirent i guess ahahahaha nice video man! u rock!

Looking back now from the days I used to try this trick, was completely different (hard to get as well), wish i had this video in the 90s xd. It makes me want to try so bad. (History: The way we were taught that trick was to hippie jump off the board, landing beside the board right, flicking the board with both feet, landing in normal.) Love your content and cant wait to skate again once and if I am fully healed up (achilles tendon tear to a triple sprained ankle to a bruised fascia bone)
