I had that problem on my 2022 was in the shop 3 times for cleaning also spent 160 on cleaner last time made them replace all 6 injectors with the new style paccar knew they put the flawed injectors in these new trucks

Ohh wow, yeah we've heard a lot of stories like this. Hopefully, they come out with a better design soon, because it's really hurting a lot of drivers financially.

I HAVE A CAT 3406 E ENGINE CAN YA GENTLEMAN PUT IT IN A 2020 KENWORTH T680??

It's the fuel in North America is not refined the same as in Europe , these engine have no issues over there with the injectors. Our fuel here is lacking the lubrication needed.

That was proven with the cp4 pumps. They don’t have the problems we do over seas where they were designed cause of fuel

I've a 2024 with 32,760 miles in the shop now with a miss. They just told me I need to add the additive every time I purchase fuel. It's a $100 per bottle and it only treats 100 gallons. Will the FASS System void my warranty?

I had six injectors installed the same time as I had the fass system installed on my ddec 5 sieres 60 that was 4.5 years ago I lost 1 injector in that time wich isn't bad considering the poor quality injectors out these days.

@@jamesmaynard7534a series 60 losing an injector isn’t very common to start with. So that’s not a shock. Now the N14 is a different story.

is this also an on going problem with 2023 year models?

Great question, and from what the information we've gathered yes it seems to be an issue with the newer trucks as well.

Speaking from experience yes. I got my 2023 T680 with a Paccar since 400 miles. At 32K miles had injector 1 and 3 go bad. Was advised to use fuel additive. I used some but not on a regular basis. Maybe once a month. Now I’m at 130K and have to bring truck back to the shop for misfire on injector 1 and loss of pressure on injector 3.
