My daughter is 10 with LONG (below her bottom) natural light blonde hair. We have never used any colouring products on it. She swam in her friend's pool and her hair is now very green. We swim a lot in summer, and I will often use coconut oil on her hair but did not have a chance to do this while visiting. I don't really want to use any dying products on her baby hair. In the past I was advised by a hair colour company to use baking soda in anti dandruff shampoo. Is this the best idea in this situation? Or this followed by tomato juice? Please help. 😱

It's gonna remove some of those build up Definitely but it also makes her hair dry. To bring her hair back to the normal pH after using baking soda, I recommend you to put a hydrating conditioner on her hair. you can also use a clarifying shampoo, which is more gentle and it removes some of the buildup gradually. to cancel that green color from her hair I would use some pink or red semi permanent haircolor which does not need developer. Add a finger size of that semi permanent color to her conditioner mix it well and massage it to the greenish area on wet hair. It’s gonna cancel some of those undesired Green color but remember that it could also add some pinkish hue to the hair so I recommend you to rinse it quickly when you see the green is gone .

@@FatemeBeautyland Thank you so much for your advice. I was afraid to use any colouring agents. We have a Schwarztkopf "hair make-up" temporary colour in a light pinkish tone that may just be perfect. Cross fingers!

Thank you Paulina💝 Remember this is not Professional way to fix your hair😊 The best way to do it is by toning your hair, using warm toner, a toner that has a little red pigments to neutralize the green stain in your hair.

Whenever you see greenish color. It's better to use a professional hair products to keep it healthy. There are some shampoo that deposit red pigment in to your hair. #Joico_hair_product has one.

I had purple and pink hair, I died it brown using a permanent hair dye now I have some green streaks, how long should I wait before dying it again, and should I use semi permanent?

The professional way is using a toner. If you use warm shades, you should be fine. If you like cool colors like ash, you need to add a little bit of mahogany or copper to your color. This way you can easily get rid of the greenish tone!

⁠@@FatemeBeautylandI just used an ash hair dye and mixed in a same level neutral dye and still got green 😕I did a ratio of 2 parts ash dye and 1 part neutral (warm red). Now idk what to do

You probably used neutral color or cool color like ash brown on blonde hair. Please let me know if It’s what happened. To avoid getting that greenish color it’s better to use warm colors or if you would rather to wear cool colors add a little warm color to your formula. Like 1/4 of your formula should be a warm color such as copper, mahogany, warm natural, or brunette In order to cancel green, you have to add something with red pigment in there

You used too much Ash or cinder in your formula. To fix it add a little bit of mahogany color to your formula.

Omggg this literally happened to me😂(same colors and everything), I tried to fix it and then it was just blue and green for almost a year, eventually I just had to cut it😭

Hi I did the baking soda treatment because I watched videos on how to remove temporary hair color I had purple in my hair that I did not like so I use the baking soda shampoo and dishwashing soap method that everyone has shown on KZread and my hair turned green! Any tips would be great thank you

You can use red depositing shampoo to neutralize the green hair Be careful if you have a dry/ damaged hair because it might turn into red😵 or simply use some ketchup to see if helps. It’s not a professional way though 😉

Thank you yes I use temporary red, mixed it with a lot of conditioner and baby pink, it looks great. Kind of a light rose gold color but it's definitely better than Green.

Yes, You can try it. they Probably used cool or neutral colors on your blonde hair, that's why you see that greenish color. There are some shampoos that cancel the green tones. one of them is Joico Color Infuse Red Shampoo. for the first time using it, It is better to mix it with your regular shampoo to see how it works.

Thank you Fateme, for this video! I would like to know, I have green hair because of a 6.1 hair dye, so with ashy shades. Baking soda will work anyway? I've done a 4.0 hair color on top of it but now that it's fading away I see the green reflection again.

You can try it once or twice. Then shampoo and rinse your hair and use a hydrating mask. Please do not use it more because it could dry out your hair and it causes it to look dull.

I guess this was helpful.. but you never told us what to use to correct the green...

Help I had burgundy and started faded then I put oops remover and is greenish , I out ketchup and nothing happened , what can I do to take the green

This is a color correction situation. It’s better to have a professional evaluate your hair and fix it. when color removal is done it leaves hair with uneven colors. sometimes we would have to treat each area accordingly. That why I don’t recommend you to do it yourself. To get rid of the green color you can mix 7 grams of mahogany, 20 grams of 10 volume developer and 10 gram of hair mask mask. Message it on wet hair. It should cancel most of red.

I went to a salon and I had her put purple in it but I didn’t like the way she did it it came out awful. I ended up going back and asked her to remove it. Instead of doing a color remover she highlighted it and it turned green!! I’m sooo upset. She then put pink over it to try and cancel out the green but I Told her I don’t want my hair pink. So she put some powder in it idk what it didn’t work. My hair is a mess I left there crying. It’s now brown with pinkish and green streaks throughout it. Is there a way for me to fix it?? I want my highlights back and I’m afraid if I go to another salon and they highlight it, it will turn green. I don’t know what to do. 😭

The exact same thing happened to me! I had her colour correct it and it was perfectly fine and this lovely brown colour for about 2 weeks and it’s turned green again I have to get it fixed again 😭😭 please give me some hope and tell me you fixed it

@@FatemeBeautyland Hello, thanks for your response…. I use one shampo that it says from outside the bottle Silver Shampoo and inside of the bottle is between blue and purple color… but it comes more of a blue than purple Color… but shampoo itself says Silver Shampoo
