Great video, nice and strait forward but should put a smear of oil on the new oil filter Oring before fitting.

Thanks, appreciate it! I normally smear oil on the seal, but the Factory Kawasaki filter actually had a failry heatlhy does of clear grease on it out of the package. I wiped my glove around it to verify it was slippery (not shown in the video). Although smearing some fresh oil on the sealing surface isn't hard to do by any means, it was a bit nice that Kawasaki applied that lubricant on there. To your point though, I probably should point this out for those who wouldn't know any better, as not everyone will use that filter on oil change....
Had a black n gold 02 zx12r for 9 years. 🤙 Nnnnnoice!

Thanks! The Z900RS is probably one of the best bikes I've owned, absolutely love it. Looks good for a new bike, and it's no slouch. Kawasaki makes fast rides, I'm sure your ZX12R was a beast!
I wouldnt us a torque wrench as a wratchet....

Don't worry, we sent it back for recalibration after using it to keep my hand out of the frame 🤣
A little sloppy if you ask me. Ever heard of a funnel? Or the correct size drainage container.

Meh, whatever. Good practice? No. But, it fetched a comment or two to tell me not to do it (mission accomplished here), and the torque wrench still lives 😂
