How To: Inward Heelflip
Спорт
"How To" video number 22: Inward Heelflip a.k.a. Inward Heel
This has probably been the most requested trick tip ever since I started making them so I hope that it is adequate. It's easy to say that this trick is just a shove it and a heelflip but there are a lot of nuanced movements and timings that are really hard to explain. I think this trick is pretty hard so don't be upset if it takes longer to learn, it's all about practice.
The main things to take away from this are:
Kick your front foot out and keep it OVER the board
Make sure you scoop/pop hard enough with your back foot
JUMP!
As always, good luck with this one! You definitely can learn it if you try.
If you need any specific help just leave a comment and I'll try my best to explain things more.
Thank you for watching!
I've been doing a lot of how to's lately so I might make one or two more and then take a break from them and get back to learning new resolution tricks soon.
P.S. I know a lot of people want a how to bigspin video but I suck at those and will have to learn them first :)

How to do Things nothing's wrong with it. Just that they are geared towards younger kids from ages 12-18 so some older adults just get mad at there success because it's not really geared for them and there type of entertainment
inward heels are such a beautiful trick. I can even ollie but just watching someone do them makes me wanna go out and skate
Thanks dude. No bullshit I couldn't even kick a inward heelflip I had no idea how to even start learning them. I watched your video and did exactly what you said and now I can do them. Your trick tip videos are by far the most helpful out there. You have a very good way of describing exactly what to do to learn tricks. Keep it up dude your making me a better skater. Ps can you build a box so you can teach us backside tailslides? Thanks homie
Favorite trick. It’s not pretty like a hard flip, but it has a wildness to it that no other trick has imo.
I think you deserve way more subs bro
I almost landed a switch inward heel when I was practicing switch pop shuvs. So now I’m here.
Gotta say mate, you got some hella good tutorials. Very detailed, and you actually do a proper inward heel.
Excellent tutorial! The whole process was clearly divided into smaller parts and each of them very well explained. Thank you a lot and greetings from Argentina
Your videos are insanely helpful and thorough, I turn to you instantly when I want to learn something new. You have literally the best tutorials on KZread. I hope your channel one day becomes as popular as something like Braille. And P.S you have the best ollies and inward heel flips on the whole internet.
Just taught me while trying!! Thank you so much for the help! Just put my head phones in and kept popping and trying and every time he would give a tip I would adjust accordingly just like you would with a coach and sure enough by the end of it they were forming every single time!

dude your awesome!!!
Thank you. I just landed it.
Thanks mane🖤
thesse are dope they help a lot
wow this is a really good helpful video with great detail I landed 2nd try and busted them out about 5 more times, can you do one one on bs or fs 360s without the pivot???
I have that same type of heel flip... I think it may have to do with shoe/foot size? I rock 10 1/2 -12 depending on the shoe brand. but most of the time 11. when I hang my toes off it over rotates and almost doubles.. have not landed either..dubs or inward.. Fakie inward seems more graspable ..jeep the vids coming man... I love the density of your explanation.
Thanks for the vid! :3
very useful
The next luan oliveira
good job man. that trick is a doozy. lol
finally thanks vl
I put my back foot in a hard shove position a jump backwards cuz of the hard shove when u pop it it goes behind u kinda figured that out when I first learned it and stopped skating for the winter and after the winter I was trying to land it tell I figured out I had to jump backwards behind me to get my back foot to land it and every time now when I do it people shake my hand and tell me I'm good
What if inward heel flip is ur first flip trick u learned after the ollie

Almost landed this trick earlier lol
Finally land it 🎉
Could u do a tutorial for the dark catches and dark realeases? Also, is it possible to spin your board in the opposite way than usual in shove its? I believe it should be... Answer please :D
@VLSkate
8 жыл бұрын
hey, yeah if you spin a shove it the opposite way then it's called a frontside shove it. annnnd, i'm pretty sure the concept of a "dark catch" was made up by skate 3. there are tricks where the board is upside down like darkslides and casper slides but there's no such thing as a dark catch and release in real life
@matrixarsmusicworkshop561
8 жыл бұрын
It wasnt. I know them from it but i know it was invented by Rodney Mullen. Anyway when u r doing dark slide u have to catch it at the dark side first so it doesnt matter how its called. I dont know thou if u can catch it and then realease witchout a slide... Its so epic trick thou and even my fovourite I think. If its not possible it would be cool if u would show us how to dark slide. And yeah I just forgot about that frontside shove its ;-;... So u r saying that u cant just dark catch and realease your board in mid air withouct a slide?
@matrixarsmusicworkshop561
8 жыл бұрын
Oh, if u meant the name ,,Dark catch" U should be right but yeah u have to call it somehow lol
@BillyHanning
7 жыл бұрын
+Matrixar the actual name for a dark catch that you are referring to is a kickflip rewind or a heelflip rewind, or maybe a Casper flip, or a hospital flip
@matrixarsmusicworkshop561

But what if u would actually catch it and then flipped fully?Billy Hanning

Where this guy go?
How tf do u jump so far forward and land it
For a hard flip I commented on the wrong video lol
This trick should be called the weird flip
I have many tricks down even hardflips , Inward heelflip are my weakness . I have landed 3 but don’t have them at all this trick just doesn’t click for me 😭
I can do inward heelflips but I always flick down and it's hard for me to flick up cos I have small legs.
@michaelanderson4454
7 жыл бұрын
small legs don't mean you cant do it unless your 5 but other then that you should be able to do them I was only 4,10 and I could do these
@justinobregon5354
7 жыл бұрын
It's easier to do tricks having small legs because you don't have to suck your legs as much as I do I'm 5 10 and I can do tricks with no problem
