How to Invoice Clients For Your SMMA
Here’s something you need to know about meetings with clients.
They can go amazingly. You can sit and speak solidly and confidently for an hour, you can laugh and joke; they can be amazed by your pitch, completely sold on the principle and ridiculously-excited about what you’re going to do for their business; and you can shake hands on a deal well done.
But you’ve just lost a client.
Unless you signed them right there in the room, or on the call, until the money’s in your Stripe account and the invoice is settled - you’ve not got your client yet.
In the split second it takes the client to leave the call, leave the room, or the days that follow as they wait to speak to a partner… they’ve got anywhere from one to a million chances to rethink their decision.
That’s when buyer’s remorse kicks in - is it too much? Couldn’t they just do it by themselves? Is now the right time.
And the client you’ve been congratulating yourself for signing is lost forever.
There’s only one way to overcome this.

SUCH GOOD objection handling. Anyone reading this, listen to this man!! This right here is absolute gold. This is what I've been starting to do as well. You MUST take payment on the phone. This will increase the closing rate for all sales calls. Don't be afraid to take payment on the phone. Since I've done this in the past month I've been able to close $20,500 in deals.

WOHOOO!! How important is that!!! I was wondering why my close conversion was that low. THAT'S WHY! Will close them straight away in the phone, the only problem that I face sometimes is that the first meeting is not directly with the CEO, so I can't close them straight away...Another concern is that stripe takes 6 days until It hit my bank account. This also happens to you? Thank you in advance! and WELL DONE CONGRATS!

@@genicor7498 Thanks man! Yeah you need to do everything in your power to speak with the decision maker. And yes usually 3-4 days to hit my bank account after stripe. Why is this an issue for you? Is it the contractors you're pay? If soo just tell them when you will pay - it's never an issue.

close the deal on the spot. Otherwise they will find weak/second thoughts is so true. Come with in the position of strength you're the expert and they need your help as soon as possible. So take that mentality instead feeling you're hard-selling. They NEED smma

Hi Iman! Quick question... could you teach us how to collect payments for people who live in countries like, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh... (I've tried Stripe but couldn't collect in USD)

so we have to ask for payment the day we sign a contract via stripe as well as we have to send that auto invoice payment for 3-4 month retainers(according to the client) during onboarding them. is it correct guys??

Why don't you use Gocardless instead? Fee's are really low. This is a really important video, I've lost many deals like this in the beginning.

When you send an invoice and they pay, do they appear in your "customers" tab on stripe so you can then make a subscription?

That would be good video, but I think he already gave lots of tips about strategy sessions with a client. You need to tell your client that he must pay you on the day you sign the contract and you should also have it written in your contract.

Yeaah imaan, this is exactly happened loads of clients cause of clients leaving the meeting and reconsider themselves to diversify in their thoughts, Then that leads is a potential dead lead. No way you get them back..
How do you get around them wanting to see and sign the contract first before payments are made?

PayPal sucks. Too many freezes & holds. Plus people like paying outright with their card more.
How are clients not scared to send money BEFORE signing a contract? Aren’t you supposed to sign it first and then send the money?
