I remember five or six years ago when I first was interested in becoming an illustrator, I discovered this video. After this, I was obsessed with painting little worlds in jars and got hooked with water color. Now I am in my junior year of college (for illustration!) and just rediscovered this video... this brings me back! :)

You made that look so very easy. I like that you mentioned that's how it works: intuitively and what you feel you want to see on the page". I started with pen, and did pretty well considering, but now I know that a pencil is best to rough sketch things in. Thanks.

Wow!! That was amazing and so easy!! I'm a artist and I've always wanted to learn how to do illustration art, but it was always hard for me since I'm into realism a bit more. And I'm such a perfectionist i can get a little frustrated at myself lol but i really like to learn this new skill. Fantastic job!! Thanks for the video!!!

Any advice for a struggling painter? I prefer oils and acrylics myself. I continue to ask myself where do I see myself in 5 yrs and try to plan, but La s change.
