Hey, first of all great video. My question is, can you install the same gimbal on P2V+? If yes? How? Is it compatible? And also how will you transmit the video from the air to your mobile device?

thanks man. I had mine all wrong and could only screw on 2 out of the 4 scews to the phantom.

Can you use your Blurfix with Filters on the Gimbal?

Is it possible to mount the GoPro with waterproof case?

I wonder if they will make waterproof cases that'll fit the gimbal.

Hey Mic have you considered buying something biger and better than the phantom? because dji makes some awesome quads and hexacopters, with better stability then the little phantom

Hey Mitch. Hope ur good. Got a question? U made the install so simple. The reason I say this is Cuz I saw other install videos and all of them showed opening up the phantom and involving soldering. So my question to u is the wire u plugged into the gimbal. did it come with the phantom 2 or u installed it. And is the there any video of how to. Thanks.

I am looking to see how to install the one piece that comes with the gimbal you didnt use here. It is a connection peice from gimbal to phantom, does anyone know how to install or why it is provided?

Mic, does the Gimbal charge the camera?

Hey great video, i am stuck between the phantom 1 or 2. What would you recommend? I know the batteries are more expensive on the 2, but is it worth the phantom 2? I would eventually be putting the gimbal on mine too and the FPV system.

I'd recommend going with the phantom 2. You can get the phantom 2 and gimbal for $869. The phantom 1 with the gimbal still costs $750-$800 plus you have to go through the headache of soldering it on which involves a higher degree of risk. Also, the phantom 1 only gets about 4 to 5 minutes flight time per battery after attaching the gimbal and gopro whereas you get 25 minutes per battery with the phantom 2. Attaching an FPV system on the phantom 1 is also somewhat of a task whereas theyve done the hard work for you on the phantom 2, you just have to plug in your transmitter on the phantom 2, no soldering required.

I am looking to start an aerial photography company for real estate pictures. I want to know which dji phantom should I buy, the v1.1.1 or the v2. I already have a gopro; therefore, no need for the dji phantom 2 vision. Also I won't make a lot of video, so do I need a gimball? Thanks!

I installed everything just like this video, but when I power up my quad, my go pro gimble turns almost straight down... how can I shoot parallel video like flying my copter beside a buddy in a boat not above him..

There's a lever on the back of the controller that controls the gimbal

Hi , I was buy by mistake Zenmuse Gimbal with no mark "FOR PHANTOM " ONLY" that normaly one. Have to much parts as in video. How can I deinstall Vision camera and install gimbal with hero 3+ , anybody knows?????

Why does my GoPro always turns down?

Please oh please do not rely on the protective units. First crash snapped them leaving my gopro and gimbal on the floor. Nearly ripped the whole gimbal cable out the gopro. I replaced with small zip ties perfect.
