Lots of people asking about the cost of this room. So far with the green and the chipping fringe we're about $2500 not counting shipping and material which is about another $300.

a2fitness Really no maintenance but use a shop vac and not a beater bar vacuum since it will slow the putting speeds. Life? Since it is a heavy face weight 100% NYLON TURF which is very dense, actually feels like your standing on a firm real grass green, it will last for decades!

high ceilings in a spare room are super rare lol I'm not rich, but a good simualator (skytrak) is only 4k to set up with an impact screen, projector, and mat. I live in Canada so it would almost be a no brainier if I had the room! Golf simulators are $40/hour - winters 4-5 months - 150 days - you'd wanna golf 100 of those days = 4k for one winter.

@@harmon411 I went with the divot action mat. The other mat that I looked at was the fiberbuilt Golf practice station. You can get from Costco for about $270. If did not choose the divot action I would have picked a fiberbuilt mat. The practice station was the cheapest option. I’m happy with my divot action mat, but have not used it as much as I intended as I broke my left shoulder and right wrist just after I got hit and have just got my shoulder in to a point where I can play without pain in late August and have not needed indoor range.

Dwayne S It was not intended to be a chipping area. It was only intended to trim out and fit the putting BentGreen turf (15 ft wide w/o seaming) to the room, but also add to the overall room aesthetic. MrShortGame wanted to maximize the putting area and the DivotAction mat will function well with the Combo, First-Cut/Deep Rough Insert for chipping purposes.
