How to Install your Airstream BIG RED NUMBERS.
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
If you are a member of The Airstream Club International then you have recieved your big red numbers "BRN".
In this video we will show you how we installed our perfectly straight on the front and back of our Airstream Travel Trailer. This will also work when installing any decal on just about any surface.
Make sure you order the correct size for your unit, newer uniots with the bak-up camera take the smaller numbers.

You are so welcome! Thanks for watching
It looks to me that the "T" in AIRSTREAM is Center.
Today’s fun fact from an actual typesetter: Letters and numbers are NOT the same height. Letters (and numbers) with rounded bottoms sit lower than those with flat bottoms. It’s because of an optical illusion. If they sat precisely on the same line, they’d look wonky. Varying the amount that the rounded letters sit below the baseline causes them to appear to our eyes to be on the same line, even when they’re not.
How did you cut the backing paper between the 3rd and 4th number without cutting all the way through to the front paper?

We are in the process at this very moment. I was able to slightly separate the papers then use small scissors to just cut the back release paper

Just use an xacto or utility knife but not a lot of pressure and go slow. If you feel it going thru, use less pressure!

I use a pair of scissors just slide between the papers
Why do people want red numbers on their Airstream? I sure am not going to do that to mine.
Best video ive seen on this! 👍🏻 I work with vinyl a lot and this is prob the best approach!! Cutting the backing between the 3rd and 4th numbers was a neat trick. Im going to do that when I install mine! Thanks! 🦩🩶🦩🩶
