    Hello, I have a question: why do you tighten the screw on the 2023 model to 40NM with the comment that the energy during an impact should not spread further and be absorbed by the screw? And here on the new model, you tighten the screw to 60NM. The frame, motor, suspension, and tightening torques on both the old and new versions of the Yamaha are presumably identical, and the sets Frame Sliders for both the past and current years look absolutely identical, except the previous set has a screw strength of 8.8, and I assume the current one has 12.9 to handle 60NM. So why don’t you use the same screw and tightening torque as on the 2023 model? Or would there be any technical problem if I used the screw from the 2023 model set on the new 2024 model and tightened it to 40NM? Thank you

    Nice, I was wondering what the torque spec for these bolts was. Where would one be able to get the repair manual for the new MT09?

    If you have a good relationship with a local dealership, you may be able to get a couple of pages from them in a .PDF format. Otherwise, you would need to purchase a service manual.

    @@TSTindustries Yep that's fine but I haven't found a place to purchase one yet. Maybe I need to dig more.

    @@TSTindustries Happy to see you guys got one so soon! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the gen 4. Almost pulled the trigger on trading in my gen 3 but figured I’d wait it out a bit until the aftermarket support ramps up. Plus I already have so many gen 3 goodies mounted up 🙌🏼🙏🏼

    I purchased this kit from you a couple weeks back and the instructions say to tighten to 40nm. In this video it says 60nm, which one should I do? I've been riding around with them tightened to 40nm per the instructions...

    The instructions reflect a shorter bolt and not reusing the OEM washer. We have updated the kit in-house and are waiting for the manufacturer to update their instructions. The OEM spec is 60Nm and we are using steel 12.9 class bolts as well.

    We're actually verifying fitment today and we're also in the process of designing our own, TST frame sliders for this model as well. Once we verify fitment of the EVOS, we will list them on the website under the 2024+ category.

    @@TSTindustries got links to fulcrum adapters?

  • @TSTindustries

    @TSTindustries

    Ай бұрын

    @@damacknificent151 they are the part of the lever that mounts to the perch/master cylinder, and then the lever body and adjuster mount to that. These adapters are the part of the lever that makes the levers bike specific. No links to those parts because they are just subcomponents of the levers.
