This USB will reinstall the system with deleting all the existing files on your hard drive. It will definitely help if all your components in working condition.

That stupid hole button thing is the dumbest way to access bios

You can avoid it by using F2 (bios) or F12 (boot menu) on startup...

Fully format USB to standard/recommended settings (remove check mark when formating). Use an official Microsoft Windows from their website. Stick your USB in *back slot* of the computer *before* powering or pressing Novo button. Then you need to change boot menu only once to USB, it will switch back automatically to hard drive after installing the windows. (Your bios should be last version, check on Lenovo's website)

It has to be NVMe SSD otherwise it doesn't recognize it

@@cedric96649 no it does not. I've put SATA SSD and it works perfect. (Western Digital Blue 3D NAND 1TB SATA SSD)

It doesn't recognize the disk in boot menu when it's clean. Here is the procedure to follow: fully format USB with standard settings (remove check mark). Install an official Microsoft windows version from their website on USB. (It would be free, home version). Stick the USB in BACK port before powering the laptop. Now, when you have done it right, your USB ONLY! should appear in boot menu. Lenovo have smart boot menu, it chooses the priority by himself, so you need to change boot menu only once to USB. Then it will change back to hard drive automaticly.

Try formating USB with another computer. Install an official Microsoft windows from their website. And stick USB in the back slot of the computer (the one that says SS on it). It worked for me.
