Worked for early 2013 macbook pro - thanks. But after video 11:00, before you proceed language settings , first apply regedit part (bypass settings) and then proceed with language settings. Otherwise once you close regedit screen, system does not continue with installation unlike as shown in the video. Also during windows installation if you encounter with WIFI connection problem, then press shift f10 to open command screen and manually run setup.exe inside the WindowsSupport folder (the one bootcamp prepared for you) Afterwards you will then installed all the necessasry drivers needed including wifi. After a fresh restart of windows then you can proceed with WIFI connection.

HI!!! Any idea how to "activate" the thunderbolt video output??? My apple thunderbolt display doesn't show any image, but the audio, facetime camera and ports work without a problem

This was great & easy to follow, as already stated I hand no "I don't have an internet connection' button. Took a chance & plugged in a cable, all installed automatically then finished the setup from flash drive. The only issue I have is I think I selected the wrong keyboard in setup & the system doesn't recognise SHIFT+2 as the @ symbol etc. Just need to work out how to change this setting.

Up till download of WindowsSupport everything went well as per your guidance. After that Boot Camp Assistant pops out 'No USB Drive' message. Can you please help me out what I should do now? I even tried in Recovery mode (command+R) only a blank white displays and never could get into it.

Hi, I installed Windows 11 23H2 on the same model (MacBook Pro a1278 MD101) but with Microsoft's MediaCreationTool on USB, I can't install BootCamp support for windows, the integrated graphics card "Intel HD Grafic 4000" crashes first and it doesn't recognize the audio drivers and other controllers, do you think that by making the stick in exFat MBR coma from video in MacOs I can solve it or is it an incompatibility problem with the latest version of Windows 11? in the windows 11 installation process, right-clicking on the trackpad will not work so you have to use a usb mouse.

Dint work for me. macbookpro mid 2012 with monterrey (opencore patcher). everytime it restart to install, the system goes directly to macos boot

You guys gotta hold down the option key to actually boot from the windows drive. otherwise the default device boot drive will be chosen

same sort of issue but after regedit the windows partition didn't show up at all and booted to macOS. Did either of you guys get this working. I have mine on Ventura with OpenCore.

If you have a 2012 MacBook Pro, why would you run macOS Catalina? It is Metal supported, go ahead and patch to Monterey! I recommend getting an SSD whatever you are running btw!

@@christophermartinez4785 of course the processor cannot be replaced. Well a 2012 machine runs Monterey soooo well I definitely recommend. 32 bits apps have unfortunately been dropped as you mentioned, that was quite a long time ago. Kinda stupid

As someone already said, when not having the “I don’t have Internet” button, press Shift + F10 and enter OOBE\BYPASSNRO in the console. After that the computer will restart and you will select the region and layout again, and then you will see the “I don’t have Internet” button.

shift-F10 to bring up the command prompt enter OOBE\BYPASSNRO Windows 11 setup will restart go through the setup again. You'll now have the "I don't have internet" option.

can't be installed on macbook pro 2011, because macbook pro 2011 can only be installed up to windows 8.1. So Bootcamp Support on Macbook Pro 2011 is maximum only for Windows 8.1.

this only works if your hard disk used to create the bootcamp partition is already MBR scheme. otherwise it doesn t work.

you are very wrong. My SDD is in GPT format and using Bootcamp Assistant will be automatically changed to the MBR scheme for the Windows 10 partition. So follow the video from beginning to end so you don't get the wrong perception. and how can macOS be installed in the MBR scheme? you may be joking 😂🤣
