I have this kind of vinyl window sill on my home but it must have been a while since installed because it's now sagged and warped. Wasps have made a home inside it because the end caps fell off. Little things I didn't notice when buying the home during the middle of winter when it's all covered in snow and ice. But at least now I can probably replace it seeing how it's installed.

You can do a whole house with Simonton’s vinyl contractor new construction windows with j channel built and nailing flange for $2,600-3,500 on average with higher end including some mulled picture or bay windows. Then you properly weather seal each window with sealant chalk and protective tape or liquid flashing and put the siding back up as it was. But if you wanted a more Premỉum product Andersen 400 series with snap in trim and plethora of other cool features and wood interiors for about $11-13k in materials. At home depot you can get 15-20% off retail price buying them in bulk or during a sale depending on specs. If you don’t want to DIY though Just don’t go to Renewal they will overprice the same exact Andersen windows you can get at Home Depot installed by their window install team at 200% or more cost.

I was hoping to find more info on how to move the siding out of the way a bit. My windows have no ledge/sill on the outside. They sit flush against the exterior profile of the house.

I can't find that stuff anywhere.. also there's too many things connected why not use the actual molding for the j channel it has a slot for that.. also vinyl expands and contracts so those miters aren't going to look great in a month.. cut 45's but leave under piece square, the 45 will always be there

Jian Ping to be more specific. replace any ply that has water damage. just cut back to the nearest stud and place a new piece in place. and that's only needed if the ply is so weak it wont hold a nail. after that you want to tyvek or house wrap. start from the lowest point and work up. Overlaps should be down so water can not run behind the wrapping. tape all seams. Run Jchannel and side (the easy part.)
