Update: I ordered and installed this unit myself and it was so easy. This specific video got me 90% of the way there but I needed some troubleshooting help and their customer support was brilliant. There was just one different step I needed to do but there was also a video for that. The unit comes with a lot of optional wires which the manual could do better job at explaining but if you're using the car's original reverse camera and not adding any other external devices than it really is as easy as this video shows. For reference I have a 2018 Audi Q3 (high version).

Does the sound work via aux? Does the key on the steering wheel all work, including switching tracks or not?

@@Seicane-Car-DVD For some reason, when the radio is connected to aux, I hear a clicking sound in the speakers for about 3 seconds. There is no such thing in the native tape recorder.

At 3.25 min , the part to te air conditioner , some people connect it to the gateway under the steering wheel

@@AB-th8ze Yes this was exactly the case for me that tripped me up during the installation but their customer support guided me to connect it under the steering wheel.

Can I buy that power cable? I was sent one which needs to connect to CANBUS which is larger connected and does not fit to the AC controller

I installed as shown in this video, but had to connect to red CAN behind AC, not yellow because of what I received - I had same issue it would not turn off @handsomegrandson so I took it out

hi, you can check if there is still any voltage on the canbus when the screen turns off. it is has, there is an issue with the canbus possibly.

the device is controlled by ACC cable. If the car engine is off, the car key is removed, and the doors are locked, the screen will turn off.

@@Dj_razvan_micu if the gateway cable doesn't fit the one in your AC unit then you need to connect it to the red gateway under the steering wheel. This was the same case for me.

What about Reverse Cam?

@dravenhaefs6163 My reply keeps disappearing so I'm going to try to reply this way. Here is the other video that helped me: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gqt6rtBwiczPdpc.html. It starts at 1:00 in and relates to the Gateway plug. If you find that yours doesn't fit in the AC gateway plug then you'll want to follow this other video's instructions for how to connect the gateway plug underneath the steering wheel instead. Hope this helps!
