Go flash a rom into the phone and it will stop bootlooping

It doesn't work for me, when I install twrp and it reboots, even if I hold Bixby + up + power, I get sent into a bootloop where it says something with recovery is not seandroid compatible or something like that

hi there , u have to see what Kind of S8 u have , cuz there are 2 types of the s8 ( Snapdragon and exynos ) , go to Google ans search S8 TWRP Exynos os Snapdragon and download the right one . PS: I had the same Problem on the begining . Hope I have helped u something ...!!

Guys how do i send the no-verity file to the S8 from the PC? I tried to do that but the S8 wont appear as an option when trying to send that file...Please help... Damn everything is a mess...tried to access TWRP after successfully flashing it on Odin but cant it says systemp update and can access only that stock recovery...What did i do wrong? I followed every step as in the video...

This tutorial is only for Exynos S8s, (non us) You have Snapdragon which means our process is a lot more harder sadly.

Azazel that sucks, any idea if the US variant of the s9 is also non unlockable? I was considering adding it to my dual speaker Droid collection for ROM flashing and developer purposes. First Samsung Droid phone I'd consider purchasing since it features everything I like in a smartphone. I'm quite surprised the North American variant of the s8 isn't yet bootloader unlockable. I mean why would Samsung care if someone feels adventurous and likes to fine tune their device? Are you sure it's not unlockable? Seems like a pretty hot developer device on XDA and G+. I just don't want to drop $800 on a locked down device, but do love the hardware package. I never use any special programs to root or unlock bootloader, just stick with TWRP recovery for flashing purposes, and Android SDK for unlocking bootloader and flashing stock firmware images

Andrey K too early to say. Id wait till the phone is released and been worked on for a few months. I know waiting is annoying but if you plan on using the device after you have unlocked its potential, its worth the wait.

Azazel yeah I'm still using a Shamu (Nexus 6) and Ether (Nextbit Robin) as my dailies. Both have a great dev support and bootloaders are unlockable out of the box. My Moto x2 and Moto g2 are also bootloader unlockable, just needed to void warrant with Motorola first, but they didn't hold me back from doing so. It's a shame Sammy's gotta be a control freak like Apple these days. It's the number one feature I look for in a phone before purchasing. Looks like you're right about the s8 snapdragons not being bootloader unlockable out of the box, just searched XDA and it does mention exynos being the only dev friendly device. Thanks for the heads up though. I personally don't get devices upon release, too many recalls and software issues, that's almost always expected

then you cant install twrp in your S8 lol. if it was s7 or s6 or older you could install without data wipe and it was very easy. Now its stupid and annoying.
