As far as I know Nissan Navara or( frontier in USA) don’t have factory tailgate assist. I owned 2 Nissan Frontier none of them had it from the factory. I would look for an aftermarket kit!

Hey I’ve been looking for that hinge piece for my Titan for a while. I don’t remember what Nissan wanted for theirs. But expensive enough for me to forget about buying it. Did you go OEM or aftermarket? Brand?

I love how people make tutorials on how to fix or replace something when it is obvious you have never done it or know how do it! These videos are nothing more than entertainment for real mechanics! Thanks for the laughs!

About time some one criticized my video, I started to worry that I forgot to get a mechanical qualification to remove couple of bolts! But hey at least I made someone laugh...

I replace the starter on my Titan with a KZread video. $150 and about three hours. How much do you exalted mechanics charge for that service? Oh I know- you charge whatever the price book says you charge. Around $1200, right? Then cut CV boot while you’re at it? Does being a dick come natural to you or do you need a certification for that too?

@@slugglife9527 Well said. I have a few 'helpful' videos on my channel that I do to help others and only for that. I am not a business trying to get customers and I wouldn't insult someone posting a valid video. Also @road glass and more I think you did a good job and I know how much extra effort it takes to get a camera, set it up, have everything in place, do the job while talking through it, not doing something careless like dropping a screw or nut, then taking the time to edit and then post the video. All while 'LIFE' happens like a train a few blocks away blows a horn, nature decides a windy day is appropriate at your time of recording and the like. Thank you for posting.
