Worked, for those who it didn't work for, change the order in which u install the files: framework, play services, account manager then play store. If u tried before, ensure u uninstall ALL the files before doing this.

Thanks, this worked for me over a year later on the 7th gen, except I was not able to open and install the files from the silk browser. I had to install a file manager from the kindle and install it from there. I used the ES File Explorer File Manager app and it let me install them there!

This actually worked, the browser wont open the apk, but the file browser did no problems at all

I was worried about replacing my high-end older oasis with this one kzread.infoUgkxCgPI5O2AtmcHq9SJhgsCGbpAzJAJfrJp but it is surprisingly light and the screen resolution is just as good. I never had the warm light on my old kindle, but i do not use it on the ipad so I will probably not need it. I think the only thing I'll miss is the self-adjusting light, but this is so worth it!

Why didn't work play store?

Mine wouldn't let me install either, the install button was "greyed out". I found a fix, Just press the power button once quickly and turn the Kindle Fire 7 off, not powered down, then turn it back on. The install button should work after that. Let me know here if it worked for you too. Worked on other apk's as well.
