Well the thing was when I went to go get my car for an oil change a month or two ago they told me that the brakes were fine they checked off green on the inspection sheet stating that the brakes were good come to find out that I needed to have brakes replaced , which makes my feel like when I service my car at the HONDA DEALER THEY DONT DO SHIT !!!!

In the future, You do not have to remove the rear brake electric motor for the emergency brake to push back in the piston. My boy is a master tech at Honda. I’d showed him your video. He said by turning that E11 thread is going to misaligned with motor and the maintenance light will pop up. And the electric brake motor can possibly fail

Great video - when unscrewing the rear parking brake with the E11, how do you now when you've unscrewed it enough? Or do you just try to depress the caliper, and see if you need to go more.

I would stick with oem for the rotors unless u got dough for the better quality rotors

I only have 20k on my 2019 Accord. Recently had a oil change from dealership they said I had 70% brakes pads left. Mine looks like yours in the video here. Needless to say they don't check at the dealership where I live apparently either.

Jovenell Moly where did you get your rims?

Anyone have a problem with the inside pad not sitting securely? I'm getting rattle, and when not under pressure I can wiggle the pad by hand. Seems the springs on top aren't contacting the caliper.

Yo any ideas how to replace wheel stud in the rear? Do I have to take apart the whole caliper and take off the brake shield?

Yes that's exactly what you have to do in order to get longer wheel studs on

Look up 2018 Honda Accord steering problem on Google you will find many people discussing their accords and steering issues the car has a design flaw.

Yes I use the electronic brake hold every day Every time when the car turns off I have a set to automatically apply

I’m currently doing the brakes but the piston won’t go back into place I used the E 11 to turn the piston Note: if you can’t turn with your clamp tool anymore grab some plyers and turn the piston clockwise it will send the piston back in aswell Also there’s some grooves in the piston so I could have just used the right adapter but fuck it

Great Video. Question: when you removed the electronic parking brake and turned the t-pin counterclockwise so you could depress the rear caliper. Did you ever turn the parking brake pin thingy clockwise after you pressed the caliper piston in? Hope that makes sense....

You don’t have to. You just re apply the parking brake when you get back in the car. It does it automatically

It's probably easier to change brake pads on a Honda then do an oil change on a BMW.

To be honest there's no difference I mean there is a little bit of a faster stopping distant but I'd say it's worth it it's right around where the OEM brakes are at
