I would love an updated guide on using this with Apex Legends and a minor update with the G Sync settings. Also, I see that the old control panel is still installed. In Geforce Experience Overlay, you used to be able to change the Fanspeed from the gpu. I didn't find it on the Nvidia App, i hope they will add this feature too cause i always max up the fans when i play games so it doesnt get hot fast, but when i just chill and watch videos or just do some tasks, i want my pc to be quiet and i put the fans down. If someone knows how i can do it with the Nvidia App that would be cool.

I'm using NVclean and profilemanager etc... does this new Nvidia app run in the bg or only opens when needed? Is the overlay better than RTSS? Does it noodle around with custom driver settings? You're the guy to ask. =)

I've seen a few videos that said it's not worth it if you NVclean and and profile manager. the new app looks nice but is still pretty shallow in terms of what it surfaces to the user. Hopefully in the future it adds everything. I don't think you can even set dual monitors up in it from what I've been told.

Also very curious. I usually dont see the point in improving performance of games by 1% just to decrease it again by running some bloatware in the background.

So I did my own research and testing with games, and come to the conclusion that this is just bloatware. It does nothing at all. It has no impact on performance other than settings like scaling ofc. I mean tbh the control panel "tweaks" have been useless for years now too. Even if you have low end hardware, you will gain nothing or nothing noticeable. There are a few very good videos about why this kind of stuff has become nothing more than clickbait. edit: the best performance gain is still to find the best driver for your gpu and install it with NVclean installer. Often times you can gain a few % more fps just by going to a better driver. Especially in Helldivers 2 I got like 10 fps going from current driver to an older one. On the other hand no control panel shenanigans did anything in Helldivers 2. Just one of many examples, WoW is the same.

Where is the undervolting and fan speed options as per the last version

i love how they make its so it doesn't even launch for me and then I cant even do my original control panel settings because it does not install anymore

I like how I can upgrade from the GeForce Experience to the app, and it keeps my preferences.

I’ve always forgone Gforce experience and have used NV CleanInstall to debloat the drivers. Is this app going to diminish performance?

Is there an option to overclock the graphics card? The option was in an NVIDIA Experience application called Tuning

The first install everything works fine then after the initial install the library cant be found even though file paths are there. Doin me ed in lol.

If I install the beta version now, will I be able to install it directly from the nvidia app without having to uninstall the existing one when the stable version is released?

should I uninstall the separate nvidia geforce and control panel apps then, or should I wait a bit longer?

GTA 4 actually show up in Nvidia APP optimization at 4:18, the current Geforce Experience doesnt detect that

If your getting an error go to task manager and end all nvidia related tasks then open the installation

Mine would keep closing everytime I try to launch it and says relaunch app or restart and reinstall.

I uninstalled the old app and control panel and installed the beta up from the site like instructed, but some how I just got the regular app I'm a bit confused by this do I need to already have geforce experience installed and running and then also install the beta app too?

updated to the latest drivers on a 1650, recorded for a fn tourney with my friend for my school and my footage is completely corrupted, i go back to a old driver and recording is completely fine, any reasons why this happens?

The statistics panel on my system reports an FPS which is 2X the FPS shown in MSFS Dev Debug panel. Also, after running the optimization feature for MSFS, I found that none of the settings which showed as changed in the nvidia app were changed in the control panel! Anyone else see this? Did I miss a step?

it upgrades the nvidia experience so nvidia experience will dissapear but the old nvidia control panel will still stay, basically NVIDIA app is just geforce experience and control panel in one but more user friendly.

There is no performance impacts. For one when the overlay is not overlaying, it's not running. Second of all if the overlay is overlaying, multiplane overlays stops it from increasing latency. Since technically it forces your game out of full screen. Nvidia is not dumb.

My only issue whit Nvidia app is i cannot change my audio input to Nvidia broadcast i use that to record voice.

it says that the app has had a problem and i can't do anything, i updated my drivers, reinstalled NVIDIA, and also rebooted my PC.

biggest Improvement: you dont have to disconnect your Controller anymore to put your PC in Standby or that the PC start the Screensaver.

@@Des7pYeah, if you have a controller plugged in the computer would just never automatically turn on the screen saver or go to sleep when left idle. You had to unplug it. I didn’t realize it was a driver issue though. Thought it was something else. It would great if that’s fixed.
