The outside mount instructions booklet p.11 indicate "Allow a minimum of 1/4" between the bottom of the installation bracket and the top of the window" The video shows installer marking the bracket holes while the bracket is flush on the top of the window molding. The next video frame shows the brackets installed properly with the brackets mounted approximately 1/4" - 1/2" above the top molding . If the brackets are installed improperly it might interfere with trying to remove the shade after installation.

How the heck do you get the top hand of this bracket to “let go” of the channel that it snapped into when you pushed it against the spring clip in the back of the bracket? I have released the back springs with a flat head screwdriver, but this header will not be released from the top claws.

The manual (Celluar Shades , c 2019, p. 13) also states "IMPORTANT: Use drywall anchors when mounting into drywall" . In this video the installation surface is drywall, but anchors are not installed.

None of this works for me. I've installed the brackets with the 1/4" gap from frame.. The shades would not go into the three brackets. What is shown in the video to a simple twist and click motion. That didn't work for me and on two of four attempts the shade came crashing to the floor as it slipped my grip.. Then I added spacers between bracket and wall to bring the bracket farther from the frame. I thought this would enable the desired rotation and click. No way did that work either. This arrangement does not work.

PATHETIC how a Levolor rep does not respond to customer issues here.

This video is 100% useless when it comes to attaching a cellular shade to the bracket.
