We have the KMINA frame and it is an excellent aid to getting down and back up on the toilet. It is much more stable than any other unit we looked at.

Hi, finding your videos very detailed and informative. My wife is having foot surgery and will be non weight bearing for up to 10 weeks. What do you recommend that she use in conjunction with this seat and frame to reach the toilet and then sit down on it? Thank you for any help you can give. Ken

One cool thing I noticed from the video is that the frame can be assembled for either a wide base or a wider base. While the size of a person may determine the choice of width, that flexibility may help accommodate different situations with walkers or bathroom configuration.

Looks really nice and sturdy, but I’m assuming if one were needing this, they would also be on a walker. In a space like this, I could see the walker hitting the foot frequently. Maybe avoidable in a larger bathroom, unfortunately a lot bathrooms are built like this.

Yes, this is definitely a vital consideration. Not all setups are as tight as mine (this bathroom is exceptionally tight, but it was the best option for filming 😖). If you approach sidestepping or with a cane versus walker, it is still a valid option.

Can the Luxe Bidet attach easily using this safety frame along with the Hyten Raised Toilet seat?

Hi Equip OT or other OTs who read this Does the kmina toilet frame fit o long as well as round bowls???

My 62 year old brother, quadriplegic since 1986, just broke his hip by putting on socks. He lifts his foot and places it on his lap and puts on his socks. He heard a popping sound but didn't know he broke his hip until the following day. He has to jerk his leg to do this and obviously doesn't know how much pressure he puts on his joints because he can't feel. Is there anything that could have prevented this? He has no use of his hands, except his upper arms, so makes lots of jerky movements when he manipulates his body.
