I am so happy with your tutorial! I'm 74, and just had my second hip surgery. The Kohler Hyten Toilet Seat is an answer to my prayers. I took the old seat off and installed the new one in less than 15 minutes. It would not have been that simple without your excellent instructions. Thank you!

I love my Kohler raised toliet seat . I did buy one over a year ago the wrong one elongated compared to round but works great anyway. Wish I had installed over a year ago my knees thank you so much

Thank you for doing these informative and helpful videos. I am considering getting a raised toilet seat due to having Multiple Sclerosis, balance issues and a foot drop, which toilet seat riser would you suggest and height for a low toilet and my height is 5 feet 5in. Question why keep the toilet seat if you can just use the riser?

Great video! I ordered mine from Amazon, Lowes didn’t carry the elongated one, and I should have it on Friday. My left hip replacement surgery is June 6th and I’m trying to get everything ready. Can this riser be used with a bidet? I have the Luxe bidet that I love.

I love this seat, however it has shifted sideways. How do I fix this? I figured it out by using the quick release catch and reseating it. I want to thank you so much for your wonderful tips. I got the toilet seat and the bath bench and it got me through all the months of being in a wheelchair after ankle surgery.

Thank you for this video! Is the seat of this toilet sturdy enough to sit on?

Wish I had this 3 months ago when I had my hip replacement.

This is great!! it was time for me to change my toilets anyway which I did a few years ago and got the ADA height however, my mom had to come live with me and even the ADA was a little bit of a struggle for her. I did have one of those toilet seat risers, the ugly one that just sits on top and is always open and looks really ugly. And being that hard plastic, it just didn’t seem sanitary no matter how much I cleaned it. The bathroom she uses is also the guest bathroom when I have company so I am always always cleaning it just to be sure that it’s presentable to, whoever needs to use it. Now with this, I think I am going to go ahead and order one. because it just looks like a a toilet . My only question is can I use this with the grab bar that is currently installed on the toilet? It’s just a single grab bar that attaches to the bolts on the back of the toilet seat. It has one of those push buttons that you attach.Please let me know than you so much. Wish I knew about you three years ago ❤❤❤❤❤

I have this raised toilet seat and we love it. I saw you review on it and ordered it. I have a question for you can a bidet be use with is toilet seat. My husband is having difficulty and the hospital said maybe a bidet could help. What are you thoughts or anyone reading this have you tried one. Any help would be appreciated.

Installed this in preparation for my THR, my only problem is it’s not compatible with the bidet which goes in between the seat and the toilet bowl.

Hi just installed my Kohler raised seat and when I use the quick release button to remove the seat, the white plastic covers lift off with the seat. Is this supposed to happen, or did I do something wrong? Other than that I love it and thank you so much for this video!

I have combined the raised seat in the video (Kohler Hyten) with this handle system (see link below) and it is incredibly sturdy and tolerant of movement. amzn.to/45L5F2H

Can I use a bidet with this set up

I have a Koehler elongated toilet. This new toilet seat is great, but it’s too short! I called K and they said all elongated K toilets should work with this. So frustrating at 76. I have the elongated version.

How do you get the caps back off when you need to adjust it? I like it but it came loose on one side and can't get to the screw to adjust it.

Do you think a bidet attachment would work with this or any type of riser?

It won't rest level on the seat with an undermount bidet system. It's possible you could add some bumpers under the toilet seat to level it out, but I haven't had much luck because the underside of the seat is hollow and the bumpers on the market are too big/don't attach securely. I have mine with a hand held bidet sprayer attachment, which works well. amzn.to/47ALplN

Mine, too. It has slid sideways. A friend installed it for me because I cannot get down to do it with my broken ankle. I'm trying to figure out how to fix the sideways slide.

No, a small space at the attachment, but not necessarily a gap.
