Hi. I am curious if i can see hidden warm bodies easier via IR during daytime. The same with the visual you presented with the tower, the difference only being it is during day time.

How is the clarity up close 10-50 yards .This looks perfect for me taking care of rats in the chicken coup with a PCP air gun.can i use a power brick to power this ? how long do the factory batteries last ?

you might need to rezero, for the only reason that you would need to remove your optic and that may cause some very slight point of impact change. but if you have good scope rings that shouldn't happen

I didn't have to take my scope off to install it. I put the mount on upside down. Hand tighten the screws. Repositioned the ring mount. And used the short end of the Allen wrench and tightened it from the bottom.

Interesting concept but it adds so much bulk to the gun... how much is this unit? I think getting something already as a thermal or IR will end up cheaper/better. Sightmark has the Wraith. And the Pulsar thermals are apparently great values.

yeah this is a IR (infrared) this one retails for 180 CAD. i definitely add some cumbersomeness to the scope. but this wasn't a review.

You can definately get better (Branded) gear but at 4---5 times the price. Remember this is a budget system for those without £500---1000+ to spend, but it will be fine for air rifle/ rimfire ranges, especially if you upgrade the IR torch to a T20 / T 30. The camera is just seeing what the scope sees in conjunction with the IR source.

Make sure the wire is connected, I beleive there are 3 screen setting try all 3 if not return as its defective

in theory it should work but likely you will need to make some modifications as this unit was specifically designed for the riflescope

Main problem I’ve had with mine is either the cross hairs ( green or red ) are clear , or the image is clear , I’ts been impossible to get both clear at the same time regardless of how much I adjust everything ! , I don’t have this issue using the scope normally , so it’s not my eyesight .

Wnsure the focus/parralax is set to the right distance, then adjust the occular, then adjust the dial om the camera peice itself, that should get it faily clear

Hi Wade, I think the only extra parts would be the 30-1" scope rings would they not? i sold my unit

What baffles me is that the sellers of these or similar products never mention one of the most important spec of the camera or the screen -the resolution

The light emits a infrared non visible to the naked eye in the dark with the camera its not quite dailight but its pretty bright

..does it work with a long eye-relief scope?

I need some help fixing this thing....PLEASE.... Camera clicks on to confirm power is present ...but no video, not sure if screen is getting power or if it is...maybe video conductor is disconnected internally.... Getting ready to open er up....could use some troubleshooting tips😢

I had this fabric 'protector'/'screen' included. It has velcro attached as if it supposed to be optional. My Best guess is that it's used to reduce the light coming from the screen. Hope you know what i mean?

Thos was a fake hawke scope i bought off ebay. Found out after the fact

Hi, yeah this was a black and white. No colour on this unit. Mind you im not experienced with night vision, i was only asked to do an instructions video for setting it up.

I have the same problem. When I switch from night to day the white balance is normal and looks great for a second but immediately adjusts and is impossible to see the target clearly. Sent a msg to the company and was asked to send a video of what it's doing but haven't had the time to do that yet. Night mode is awesome though.

Brightness, contrast and etc. Middle button brings up the menu. Top and bottom--up/down. It's a very good bit of kit

As someone who just learned about this, I'll be the first to admit I'm a novice in this field, yet this sounds like you have a fixed objective scope which is "tuned" to a set range, though I have no idea what its "tuned" to. From what I understand, you would need a scope with either an adjustable objective (AO - where the main lens is turned like an old style camera lens to bring the objective into focus), or side focus (SF - a wheel or knob on the side of your scope near the windage and elevation turrets) to get both to focus; where you use the focus on the eye piece to focus on the crosshair, then use turn the "side focus" turret or "adjustable objective" to bring your target into focus...

Do you think this little night-time rifle scope would be perfect for rat hunting (at night) on a farm, I have a pcp airgun 22. I hesitate between the red light and this infrared scope. Hey, I have experimented and tested lot with 18650 batteries. Here's some buyer's advice: 1. Any rated capacity above 3600 mAh is a fraud. Do not get confused with capacities like 9900 mAh etc. It's nonsense. 2. You will find good and affordable batteries from Panasonic, Sony, LG and Samsung. 3. Samsung INR18650-35E and Panasonic NCR18650B (used in Teslas) have the highest capacities and can be had for less than 7 bucks each. 4. If you cheap out on these, you WILL end up buying twice ;) Don't buy these GTF labeled batteries, as they are a scam. Their real world capacity is somewhere in the region of a few hundred mAh. In general the market is flooded with these scam batteries and even counterfeits, so stick to the brands mentioned above.

Hey Max, yeah i'm fairly certain their not 9900mah. ive been using those batteries for about 3 years in my headlamps. for that they work well. i havent tested how long they will keep this going tho

I own a megaorei version 2 which is very similar to this and that particular version can, though from what Alex(?) shared previously, this particular model does NOT have that capability

Having challenges getting the system set up. Sighted the gun at 100 yards with the scope, installed camera, and it shoots 12-14” low using the camera. Is there a way to adjust the camera system? Or, customer service that I can reach out to?

Hibthere so using the camera will have no impact on where the rifle is shooting, that jas everything to do with tour scope and the rifle, you, remove the camera on the eyepiece, and sight it in as normal, then once zeroed put the camera back on and adjust the camera itself

I have the same problem so i called Amazon they sent me the sellers email, i emailed the seller let them know the battery tray is too short for the the batteries i purchased from several local retailers and all didn't fit. I asked them to send me a replacement tray instead they sent me some batteries that do fit so i think they are aware of the issue, hope this helps.

Ordered one of these last week to go on my rm8 varmint and just waiting for it to come so will look into replacing the supplied cable for one with a usb connector instead so i can plug the camera straight into my phone and use that as the monitor/recorder. Surely there must be a way to do this or maybe theres someone that can make up a usb cable

I just bought a firewolf brand and its garbage black and white viewing special order hard to find batteries, had to buy a new scope because it wouldn't fit any of the four I already have. Overall not happy with this purchase at all.

How fast it's focus ..!! If you shoot rats.. you have to go far and close distance ... how fast you can focus ... thanks...

18650 is the battery size, though there are two main styles, one with flat positive terminals, and some with raised positive terminals. I use the flat ones myself and stick to one brand

Don’t buy this product thinking the set up will be this easy. This is a very helpful video don’t get me wrong but the battery it recommends you to use does not fit. It says to use a raised positive 18650 battery but they are too long for the battery box. Plan on going on a wild goose chase trying to find the right batteries. Not a deal breaker cause the product is cool and cheap. However it is frustrating when you buy the product and can’t use it til you find the right batteries
