Girlfriends car had a failing fuel pump this is the exact year, exact model, and everything, this will be so insanely helpful, I’m actually looking forward to changing this because of this video! Please don’t stop uploading videos, her car crapped out on us at a red light we were lucky to get it back home but this morning we are replacing it (with ease I hope) thanks again!! Will update later!

Dropped mine today. The worst/hardest part was getting the two fuel lines off. That's what took the most time. Funny thing is the new one doesn't make a sound when you turn the key on. Thanks again.

I'm not understanding why you didn't just remove the back seat and change it out. This doesn't require getting under the car.

Some Durangos like mine can't be replaced by going under the seat u have to drop the tank

You didn't just change the pump. You changed the entire pump assembly. I was checking to see how to change the fuel pump and reuse the rest of the assembly

Or you could just pull the center seats and install it via the access panel in the floorboard.

What size socket do you use to take the tank off

Is the process the same for 2005 durango?

Man my durango won't start 😪 need to know if fuel pump need replaced

@ 1:35 I my electrical connector would not come off. I used a screwdriver the top of the plastic came off. It still goes on. Unknown if I have to replace the electric connector Google not helping no information

Why don't american cars have fuel pump access panels like the imports?

Can someone tell me where's the "RELIEF VALVE" located so i can bleed it ...with pics THANKS...did everything forgot to bleed it...lol

The port should be found on the fuel rail on the engine, it should have a protector cap on it. Unscrew the cap and you can connect a pressure gauge and bleed the system.
