    Thats cool man!!!! Main reason is cooler engine and a slight bump in performance along with easier to get to waterpump and all in future repairs. Wow!!!!

    Thanks dude! I believe if I had a better fan setup or maybe a dual fan system, it would have been even more efficient. I ended up putting the OEM fan and shrouds back on because once I added a new condenser and external Trans fluid cooler, I was haven't overheating issues. I uploaded a video about the change. The overall concept is the same though. Thanks for watching!✊🏾✊🏾

    Thanks man! They have those brass adapters at the parts store normally on the help isle. You can also get them from Amazon if you know your NPT thread size. Hope this helps!✊🏾✊🏾

    Thanks Brian! I haven't had any issues whatsoever out of this fan kit. So far, not so much as a fuse has even blown. I need to upgrade the radiator on my truck and I also made a bone head move of reusing head bolts when I installed the vortec heads years ago which cause seeping here and there. Otherwise, the fan kit itself is flawless!

    Good job.. one question i wanna know.. if you turn off your truck when the temperature is still high, does the fan stay on until it cools down??

    Thanks man! I have since removed this fan and installed the factory mechanical clutch fan but, to answer your question, it did not. I had the signal wire from the relay tied into key-on voltage. That means the really will not energize unless the key is on.

    @DUKE-bc4ig I needed dual fans and the correct sized fan shroud. I was running warmer than I was comfortable with after I fixed my AC. I believe going electric fans is always beneficial when you do it right. I'm gonna install a bigger radiator and a dual fan setup with needed amount of cfm for proper cooling.

    @DUKE-bc4ig yes sir! That's why I put it out there. If you do go electric fans, make sure you get the right fans for your application. When I can afford it, I'm going back to electric fan and I'll do a video on the install.

    It's holding up really good. I haven't had to do anything to it since I installed the kit. I kind of would like to upgrade to a fan system that fits the size radiator that I have though. The 2005 Silverado dual fans fit the obs truck radiator?

    Whats happening? I'm sorry man, I don't. I ordered the fan kit and shroud from Amazon. The fan kit came with the harness, sending unit and fan itself and the shroud was a separate order also from Amazon. I only remember that the fan shroud came from a online store called assault racing. If I look back into my history and find the order itself, I can share the link in this video description.

    Yes, I still use that for my gauge in the truck. The new sending unit is for the fan control.

    Thanks. It's not blowing at all now. I did not have enough fan cfm for radiator AND condenser so, too much pressure built up on the high side and blew out the seal let all the refrigerant out. I need to upgrade my cooling system before I can have AC again.

    @@WorkingwithBobby so this fan set up isn’t cooling the condenser efficiently? I’m just wondering cause I’m switching to electric fans because of my AC not cooling well here in Texas. I have brand new compressor, confessor, accumulator, evaporator, hoses, etc but it can’t keep up with the heat.

    @malcolmeatman-goode8201 it does not. I had no issue with cooling until I added the condenser and tried to put AC back on. That's why I feel I need to upgrade. I'm currently looking into some options and found a company called alloyworks who makes a radiator and fan kit that I might order when I get the money. For right now, Belle is down.🥺🥺

    It does but, I still sometimes wonder what caused it to run bad while cruising through towns? That's the whole reason I switched to carburetor. I never was able to figure that out.🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

    I think I have to install my switch on the side because mine has a 2 connector at the top on the intake but a single wire on the one of the side by 1 and 3 spark plugs

    It's ok if you do. There's a plug you can remove from the cylinder head near the exhaust manifold to install the switch.

    Good question. It was easier for me to remove the drive belt after removing the top half of the radiator shroud. The you can turn the water pump pulley by hand to access all the fasteners. I took a pair of channel lock pliers and used them to hold the pulleyvwhile removing the fasteners with a gear wrench. I hope this helps.✊🏾✊🏾

    @mrworldwide6770 ok, that's fine. You don't have to change the thermostat unless you want to run one that matches the parameters of the cooling fan kit. Other than that, the temperature switch that came with the kit will control the fan according to coolant temperature as it should.

    Good question and to answer your question, no, it was not enough. My truck ran 10-15 degrees warmer with this setup. I needed dual fans. I have since put the mechanical fan back on. I will go aluminum radiator and dual fan setup soon....
