Thanks for the video. You are guessing, unplug one actuator at a time to see if the noise stops. If the noise stops its that actuator that is no go good.

I finally logged back on to this account. Just a quick follow up. Got the ones finally silent under the dash. the one hidden on the driver side I have never attempted to do. But I do have videos coming again and parts coming soon.

how do you fit the arm of the actuator in tho? i cant find any instructions on that

I have 2 bad ones.. How do I get to the one behind the instrument cluster? It way up high and impossible to get to.

the one on the driver side? that one is a pain to do and I still need to do that one. the one on the passenger side is really hard to get to up high and align but I had small hands and made it fit pretty much. there may be another way on how to install these parts but thats how i did these 2.

You have to pull the instrument cluster

I replaced the top one and still only blows out the defrost

there is 4 in total, one behind the instrument cluster and the the other 3 behind ther glove box. I belevie the defrost is behind the cluster.

I hear the drivers side is tough

So it's not the one your holding that's clicking. So it must be the other one.

@@mcgerry1543 the heater blend door is for the defrost. there are 3 of them but the heater blend and ac blend look to be the same. There are 3 under the glovebox and 1 behind the gauge cluster.

@@TownCar512 yes. The one for the driver side and 2 for the passenger side. Passenger side easier to do both with airbag out and battery disconnected. Driver side remove cluster and use a palm ratchet.
