Thank you so much for this clear step by step! Included Bakflip paper instructions left plenty to be desired.

I purchased this from real truck and before I purchased I asked real truck about the hardware that will lower the cargo management system. Was told the hardware comes with it no extra cost. Got the bed cover and the hardware no longer comes with this bed cover. Spoke with backflip and they informed me that it has changed a year ago. Want to let everyone know in case you are thinking of purchasing and want to lower cargo management. Real truck needs to do better in training their sales staff.

The video instructions are far more clear than the paper instructions that came with it.

Thanks for putting the video together. The video process is a little different than the paper instructions and better IMO. I didn’t see this video until after installing.

This went in nicely. Only thing I wish I would have done is switch out the included bulkhead seal with a rubber type over foam.

Can someone explain why this is so much different than the paper instructions included?

Definitely more useful to watch the video. Putting the bulkhead weather stripping on before the rails makes a better seal. For the price you should include the Torx head driver. Took 2 hours to install alone.

Have they changed the design because the one I received does not allow the accessory rail to be lowered 1"? If so please show new design install. Thanks.

Where did you get your kneeling pads. Those look nice. Big and light.

Can you drive with the cover all the way up and will it damage the paint where it hits the truck ?

when the gate is closed, how much of the the top should be rested on the tailgate?

Does anyone else have an issue with a small gap on the sides where the tailgate comes up?

Hey RealTruck team, does this particular cover completely remove easily? I saw on your website with some of the other covers, simply unscrewing the two star bolts allows you to completely remove the cover..

Yes! This cover can be easily removed by unbolting the elevator bolts installed on the header panel

What part number is shown here in this video? I went to real truck and selected all of the correct options for my truck then what showed up didn't bolt into the deck rail system, have the block or crescent seals. It was a model that wanted to clamp onto the lip of my bed therefore making it not flat on top for the cover. The instructions mentioned shims but it didn't come with those either. The part number I ordered was BAK-448440 and it's for a 2023 Tundra with the 5'7" bed. Can you please guide me in the right direction?

I have the same problem. I ordered this part number, 448440 from Amazon. But all hardware included looks like it’s for previous tundra models (2021 and below). The bed rails, rail brackets etc don’t match what is shown in this video. Were you able to get any guidance?

@@reidnakasone8161 Same here, I just went through Real Truck & Amazon and they both sent me this completely alternate version. It's as if they are bait switching for an older model. What is the correct model/part number for the version being shown in this video!??! The version sent to me does not allow me to drop the factory deck rail down.

I returned the one I got from Amazon. Found a local dealer of Bakflip covers and luckily they had 448440 in stock. I explained to them my dilemma and asked if i could inspect the parts/hardware before I bought from them. When I inspected everything, it was the correct parts and hardware as shown in this video so I bought it. The guys at the shop were very knowledgeable of Bakflip products but were just as perplexed as I was with the Amazon order being the correct 448440 part number but an entirely different product

@@charlOOsi sorry I don’t have the UPC or anything. I already broke down the box and threw it away. If you haven’t already, I would double check if there is a dealer near you. I believe real truck has a store finder on their site. If it turns out that you don’t have anyone near you, I would reach out to realtruck’s support via email or phone. I was actually in contact with them regarding this situation and they seemed willing to help but once I found out that a store close by had the correct cover, I opted to just return the Amazon order and pick up the one from the dealer. But I think if i pursued realtruck, they would have worked with me until everything was good.

Do you sell the seals as a kit?

@realtruck. Seems like you used a seal all along the top bed rail and not just the bulkhead, am I correct? If so where can I buy more seal to apply to the entire border of the tonneau cover?
