Hi Good Video, I am facing issue while installing bottles, while doing step "flatpak install flathub com.usebottles.bottles" it show me "error: Nothing matches com.usebottles.bottles in remote flathub" what is the solution for this? can you please help?

Hello Vishal After looking into this I have found that changes have been made to the way you install Bottles. These changes were made Between June 25th and September 22nd of 2022. I would advise going to the following link to download the Flatpak for Bottles and install it using that. I hope this helped! docs.usebottles.com/getting-started/installation

Hi and thank you for the video. It is so sad that in 2024 the linux desktop average user needs to go through this to install a software. I think this is the main issue why windows and mac still lead in the desktop world where the main intention of Linux in the beginning is to be a desktop os and that the only thing it failed to achieve

Hi Luke. I am not sure about running bottles on ARM as that is a different architecture. I don't currently have access to an ARM device to test this so I cannot say one way or the other on this. It might be worth doing some research on this matter for the future. If I find out some more information I might make a video about bottles on ARM.

How do you get Photoshop cs6 to work. I installed all dependencies but still doesn't install

Firstly. Love the username. Secondly I believe this is a software package that can be installed directly from Wine Tricks. But I will look into it.

Update figured it out. Had to launch .exe within the bottle sandbox folder. And fixing the buggy glitch in settings changed to sys-wine-7.0.1. both 32 and 64bit work.

@@churchofsatan2041 That sounds about right. Wine 8.0 has also just been released so its like to mess with things even more.

Great video. A couple of tips I hope are helpful; Don’t feel like you need to speak fast. When transitioning provide us useful tips and information. Annunciate just a tad more but still keep your natural style if speaking, I suspect the accent is British?

A very dodgy English accent as I've lived all over England. Accents can change just by traveling 10 miles down the road. I will take these tips on board and use them in the future.
