Hey im installing a transcend nvme model number mte250s a gen4 drive 4tb , i tried to format after format drive keeps trying to load then fail. I format on pc everything ok copy some files works, i put back into enclosure then same issue Not accesible, a device which does not excist was specified. Any help?

Hi, according to your question, may I ask have you ensure that the firmware and drivers for the SSD are up-to-date? Have you try using a different enclosure to rule out hardware issues? Or whether you try testing the SSD's compatibility with other USB ports or computers?

@@asus_support same enclosure works on a crucial p3 same thunderbolt 3 port same cable. Can asus try the transcend model and on a usbc thunderbolt 3 port, as i believe its a combination of both factors that cause this error. I tried on a usb to usbc cable it works but slow very slow. 40mbs..

What about the heat pad? How can you not even mention that? Does the plastic film that looks like it covers it have to be peeled off?

@@asus_support- Thanks, but that still says absolutely nothing about the thermal pad! And, of course, the full instructions should be included in the box no matter what. In any event, I returned the unit I bought because it was giving me Ntfs errors when connected to Windows 11 with a 1 TB Western Digital Blue SSD installed.

Isn't there supposed to be a thermal pad placed underneath the SSD? My Seagate FireCuda 530 2TB has components on both sides, and on the underside, they are just resting on the PCB of the enclosure.

Hi I getting only 462.80 mbps on USB 3.0 type c to a port and also using the cable I received on box for my ssd encloser and I changed setting to better performance for ssd inside so please let me know how to increase the speed of file transfer atleast 2gbps

Hi, based on your issue in order to reach best efficiency, please ensure that you have connected USB 3.2 Gen2 cable, which is attached with TUF Gaming SSD Enclosure, to your computer’s USB 3.2 Gen2 port. For instance, if your computer only provides USB 3.2 Gen1 port, then the maximum read and write speed can only achieve 5Gb/s theoretically. I installed fury renegade 2 tb M.2 ssd to inside asus tuf gaming A1 enclosure. I copy a large folder to ssd everytime copy rate decrease in 2 min and goes zero and connection lost occur. What is the wrong with enclosure?

I have the same issue. tested on laptop and a desktop both with ubuntu 22.04 . Trying to copy 80 GB of pictures and movies on it. Starts at high speed (>700MB/s) and then in like 2 minutes speed decreases then the copy fails with the error: There was an error copying the .... Error splicing file: read-only filesystem. The NVME m2 inside is a 1 TB Adata XPG Legend 840 disk. Tested the disk in a desktop computer and works fine. So, what's wrong with the enclosure? [yes, I'm using the transmission cable provided by Asus]

​@@avk100I had an "issue" where it actually showed as 2 drives. One I believe is possibly the hardware for the enclosure itself and the small amount of data it contains, and the other is for the actual m.2 drive.
