Why can't you just discharge the cap yourself to not have to wait 10 mins? Would discharging it hurt the board or any other components?

@@geappliances after seeing what type of capacitor and where it is on board I realize to not try to discharge caps on there. Thought it was a capacitor that would be for like a motor but it's not. I agree don't do nothing to capacitor and just let it sit for 10 mins
