at the start of the second mission the game crashes it gives a big list of problems but the first two lines says: "Attempted to specify a locomotor for object TookArcher without an AIUpdate Block". Error parsing field 'd' in block 'Object' in file 'maps\MAP GOOD SHADOW OF THE PAST\map.ini', line 1001. do you know anything about this?

There is a thing also I just found, If you have some performance "issues" you can try turning "hardware accelerated gpu scheduling" on on your PC, I helped with the performance a bit, when I get some "lagg".

First of all, did you install the 9.0 patch ? :D Also might need to check for the antivirus and the 9.0 modules to be selected nicely: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZYyCq6SEedvSZZs.html

Hello, i have the same text. but when i try Intro movies disable in the 2.02 launcher, i become a Error message "Could not disable fire data/movies/EALogo. vp6.... try running this launcher with adminstration. But i started it with administator. I installed it exactly according to the video... My english is not so good and i will play this gaaaame!!!

Thanks got it working lovely. One problem some of my hero's are shadowey any way I can fix this. Apart from that game works great love playing as the new misty mountains

Hi, first of all, thank you for this tutorial, it helped me a lot. But I have one question: is it normal for the download of the mod to take this long? After 2 hours, my download progress is at 1 gb and I have highspeed internet.

Oh I'm glad it helped ;) Hmm, sometime it can differ, buut if it's too long you can still try a different mirror, It should be okey by the way, when the mod was released we broke MoDDB, cause everyone was trying to download the mod :D, but after that it was pretty stable download, maybe there is another mod in the site which got a huge update, sometime it can happen, but as I said if You are not satisfied with the speed, still can try a different mirror ;)

A 1:57 did you apply these stepps? You also need to install the patch into your rotwk folder. And need to apply the listed ones

@@TheRestrainedHunger728 hm, Also try to whitelist 9.0 installer, and after install the launcher, So it will not trigger antivirus, Maybe that is causing your problem.

I did everything right and still i get the error "It seems you do not have RotWk patch 2.02 v9 enabled. Please install or enable it and try again." But i do have everything right and working properly, the installation of AotR is the only problem i'm having, no kind of error appeared installing 2.02 or had any issues with Windows Defender, i have disabled what it is told to disable and still nothing...

Hey, It should be in the control panel uninstall programs, If not, there is an exe in the folder of the game, you can also use that one.

Hey, yes you can, but you need to disable edain and have bfme 9.0 in a different folder for Age of the Ring I found this one one the Edain discord, it might could help you also :) How to have multiple ROTWK folders to separate mods Warnings: You will still have to do some folder renaming everytime you want to change the mod you're playing and possibly copy paste some asset.dat files. ROTWK puts the installation path into the registry and therefore can only launch the game from there. 1. Start with a clean copy of ROTWK patch 2.01 (we'll refer to this folder as rotwk) The rotwk folder is where the registry points as the installation path. Before installing any mod, make sure to backup the asset.dat file located in your BFME2 installation folder. 2. copy paste the rotwk folder and rename the copy to something like rotwk - backup 3. Install a mod of your choosing, let's say edain 4.4.1. Note: In the case of edain, once it is done installing, backup the asset.dat located in the BFME2 installation folder, it is key to having the mod work 4. You now have edain 4.4.1 installed. But let's install another mod, let's say edain 3.8.1 5. Rename the rotwk folder (the one we just installed edain 4.4.1 in) to rotwk - 4.4.1 6. Copy paste rotwk - backup and rename it to rotwk 7. Install edain 3.8.1 Note: Again, once it is installed, make sure to backup the asset.dat located in the BFME2 installation folder You are now all set to play edain 3.8.1, but lets say you wanna play edain 4.4.1: 1. Rename the rotwk folder (the one we have edain 3.8.1 installed in) to rotwk - 3.8.1 2. Rename the rotwk - 4.4.1 folder to rotwk 3. Copy paste the asset.dat you backed up for 4.4.1 into the BFME2 folder. You are now all set to play edain 4.4.1. You can repeat those steps endlessly to install any mod that requires installation into the game directory. If the mod changes the BFME2 asset.dat to function, make sure to back it up before switching mods. (edited)

Hello there you need to switch to 9.0 in the launcher, Activate the modules listed here :kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZYyCq6SEedvSZZs.html Or maybe your ativirus disabled some files, make sure to make the folder of RotWK whitelisted for your antivirus, Cause sometimes it can be triggered, but that is false positive. In this case I recommend whitelisting the RotWK folder, and then reinstall 9.0, and then activate the modules I linked above ;)

@@TQP-Tukolpka in options menu, there are three options: -Locate AOTR folder - Locate Roaming folder - Locate rotWK folder I can locate AOTR and rotWK folders but I can't locate Roaming folder even if i know where the folder is.(My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files)

I have done everything even downloaded the 8.1 patch but when i open the age of the ring it opens the rise of the witch king or it just crash immediately can anyone help?

@@TQP-Tukolpka i have played the 7.3 And the elden ring but i have deleted everything and reinstall the lord of the ring from scratch and downloaded the 8.0 i even tried the 7.3 version and it started to do the same thing crashing from the beginning

@@NikitaErmakov So if the mep generator made the map, it placed it in your maps folder at the appdata, it should be accessible through the skirmish menu, with a little hammer icon, and called "custom adv : something" it should be there :)

@@NikitaErmakov if it leads to that message, that it is already created, It should be there, Be aware if you already created the map, with another adventure faction, it will not overwrite it, I'm guessing that might be this is the case, For example you already played or created the same map with another adventure faction. You have to delete it, from your rise of the witch king files, map folder, than create the map again with the AotR options, this should work. I had the same problem before, Wanted to play a new adventure faction, in a map, which I've already created before. It has a same name, so i had to delete it from my rise of the witch king files, And then recreate the map with the AotR options :D

Hi, The new versions of the installer is designded to update your "old files", and the mod is launching with the shortcut, with a command for a different folder. The mod is designed like this for easier editing and to not interfeer with the game folder and files I guess.

Hello there, you can do it yes, in the worldbuilder, via scripts, which give a player starting money, and command points. also if you want more command points you can do it in the skirmish menu and set it to x100. I hope I could help ;)
