@@huemann7637 yeah I’m actually doing my sprinkler system now and I only went down 6 inches. That’s to avoid the aerating.

There has to be a better way to install with minimal damage to your surface lawn.

Don’t think you need all that you just need a half moon shovel and you stick it in the ground and bend the dirt side to side just enough room to fit a small line of tubing not pvc there’s rolls of it in a kit you can buy shouldn’t have to even shovel dirt most of the time it only needs to go under the ground like 4 or 6 inches deep

Why not just use a pipe plow? Dragging the pipe through the ground is just easier and faster so it’s more efficient

Because a pipe plow limits the design of the sprinkler system. It's not faster or easier. You still have to dig down everywhere you're going to put in a fitting. Maybe for a line of rotors its ok

If you had the right machine you’d sVe more . And not use pvc ..
