Great Video. What size is the Allen key that you need? The standard Allen keys won't fit, to big in a tight space.

Thanks good video. On my type the expanding tapers are plastic and can not be tightened enough. The seat is forever coming loose so I've change to a direct metal nut and bolt. Nice Mod Lambretta Tee Shirt :)

How to assemble "L" type Hindware seat cover hinges?

Mine came with two long screws and 2 spanners- but that seems to not be a part of the installation. Does anyone know where to put the two long screws this came with?

How do you make it go faster down? Mine is really slow and that's annoying

The clue is is soft closing you idiot...why would you want it to go down fast.

@@terrym1964 sorry but it goes too slow, like one cm per 10 sec. Soft close doesn't mean slow close. I bought it so my kids don't slam them down. If the next person is a girl and has to pee it doesn't come down quickly enough.

Beware of laying small loose items on top of toilet, plenty of holes for them to fall into !

Are you not supposed ever to sit on the toilet seat? It's the same style seat as in the video above, and I've only just got it, assembled it correctly, sat on it and it's cracked! Nowhere in the documentation does it say never to sit on it. I'm so annoyed.

Don’t use the toilet top as a shelf. Those hardware parts may accidentally fall through the holes.
