@@albaabur Sadly it hasn't made any difference. The guy who I bought it from said he's happy to replace it if I wish or refund my money.. he thinks maybe that was just a dud one. Very disappointing, because I'm sick of being so itchy whenever I have a shower.

Thanks for the shower water filter demo. Bought one & removed the filter. The rubber washer fell out so I didn't know if to put it on top or bottom end of container. Then I also didn't remember which end of the filter was up or down. Any who, your vid showed me all of it. Your demo was spot on, except for the loud distracting music. Much much lower... it's supposed to be a little background music not a party or bar. Just say'n.

I think you’re supposed to wrap the Teflon tape clockwise, not counter-clockwise.

Are all the filters the same size? I don't find any info about what type/model of shower heads the filters fit... so I assume they are really all the same even though I find it hard to believe? :)

What is the use of the tape?

you put your tape on in the wrong direction my friend, which means it will unwind when you screw the fitting on. also, always make sure you keep the tape flat and in clean, consistent layers. The other thing is ALWAYS do at least 10 circles. !

Your test didn’t work properly because you did the test 5 months after using the filter. The filter only last for 2 months. Just like a brita filter or zero water they do expire and must be changed when it fails to make a difference for the hard or soft water. Also if you really want to know exactly where your water is, please get a water tester that shows the numbers in parts per million, and then look up the chart. In Florida in Hollywood we have 180+ ppm which means we have very hard water, the filter should bring that number down to like anywhere from 0- 50 ppm to make the water soft. The electronic water testers are way better. But I am thinking about getting this because my water is very hard and my body is just tired of it.

Is this that Michigan water.

I feel the question is TDS not p.h . Does any 1 know if this really does reduce carbonates for 3 to 6 months. If so im sold and amazed but have a hard time trusting thats true

I actually don't know tbh. I do know there was a difference & also that my filter is clogged up & needs to be changed due to the minerals collected. It lasted a year & I havent changed it because I plan on moving. I hope that helps.

Hi, my skin feels great, I never use lotion or oil or anything after I shower. My hair has felt a difference too. The 1st time I installed this & shampooed, it lathered up much quicker than before. I hope this helps.

I'm not sure, just look for how many filters is in the shower filter. I believe this one has 8 & it has worked well for me so far. I posted what's in the filter in the description, just trust your gut & go w/ whatever you feel is right. This one is great if you don't know which else to pick.

The filter has a life of 6 months once unwrapped, regardless of whether you use it or not.

You wrapped the tape the wrong way. Lol

Yes after a year or so, you can tell when the filter shower starts not spraying as fluidly.

How long does this last ? Did u notice a difference in how your skin felt ? Because my skin my skin is so irritated and itchy , Because a 6000 water softener is too pricy , wish they did a payment plan ,

It might be too much to ask, but could you maybe bring out a video with those tests soon? i live in a good area, but my area has very hard water and chloroamine (chlorine+ammonia, mixed so that chlorine lasts longer, which is why it falls under the total chlorine category for testing strips), and I really need to get a shower filter that really works. I'm looking to buy either Sonaki Inline Shower filter by Sonaki, pH Energize shower filter by invigorated water, berkey shower filter, or propur ProMax shower filter, but I can't make a decision until I see which ones work best. Again, you don't have to make a more thorough video at all, but if you considered it, I'd really appreciate it. It could help both you and I. Thanks

@@doThatGWalk it does matter, the way you applied it loosens when you tighten the fitting on it. you need to remove it and wrap it the other way so as you tighten up the fitting the tap tightens on the threads
