I bought and installed this exact kit and the Service Manual a few months ago. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I mounted the regulators the same way he did up on the roll bar for maximum ventilation. My stereo is now louder and crisper, the lights are a little brighter and my winch has a lot more pulling power.

I don’t even own a Razr and I enjoyed it. I have a Ranger 1000. You do a great job with your video’s. Like how you don’t get rushed and take your time to explain in great detail.

Great video, especially explaining the maximizing of your stator wattage for accessories that will lead to burning up your electrical system if the stator is over taxed. I want to add a few accessories to our RMAX, I had not thought about the electrical burden these accessories will pose onto the vehicle. I will delve into the owners manual and figure out what I can add and choose my accessories added wisely. Thanks for the GREAT video and Merry Christmas to the Fishers.

Thank you Charles! If you're running the RMAX with accessories you could get away with the dual battery set up. As long as you're not running a ton of accessories the dual battery set up is just right for that.

It’s a fly wheel puller, we have a bunch of different sizes. If you google it you’ll see a bunch of them for your unit.

I lucked into finding a 2022 Polaris ranger someone ordered and then didn't end up buying it and I was able to get it a day after starting my search not wanting to wait for one being ordered. It is a Polaris ranger trail boss which i had never heard of. It comes from the factory with a 900 watt stator so I don't think I would need to upgrade or add a second battery? whats your thoughts on that?

You'll be good with a 900watt. As long as you don't add a bunch of high wattage accessories to it you'll be fine...

Hi there, what do we do with the connector in front of the motor behind the seats that we remove the stock stator connector from? Do we just leave it? Thank you!

Being that there is 2 charging leads coming from each regulator, can I run 1 to each of my batteries on dual battery setup?

You can, I also always use a new gasket if I have one.

@christopherlea2773 we generally only use the gasket and we do 30 plus creek crossings every day on our SXS tours. Never have any issues with water getting in. If you use both I would use a light layer of sealer.

How well has this held up. Is the kit still functioning like it should

We installed the unit in one of our rentals, we put 5K miles on our units and then get new ones. We get new units every 6 months. It worked great for the time we had the unit.

Anyone know the output voltage of each leg of the oem stator for a 17' ranger 900 @ idle. I'm getting 21 volts each leg with one burnt pin.

Your best bet is to get a repair manual, that will have all specs for your machine.

I have a 19 rzr turbo 4, I have a dual battery kit and zrp alternator and still having voltage issues and thinking my stock stator is bad. Will this be compatible with the zrp alternator?
