I would always ride without the pin lock and my visor would fog up. This pin lock system is a must.

Pin Lock inserts are a must have in the cold or chilly weather!

"Looks like an 80s road map" 🤣 Nice job on the Darth Vader sound effect. I had some issues with my pin lock fogging up in colder temps and rain in Texas and Oklahoma, but worked fine in warmer temps. A good cleaning of shield helped out.

I've got one on my Hornet X2 Dual-Sport helmet. Super happy with the lid and the pinlock. I ride a lot in cold weather.

Bo Dean 52 I can wear eye glasses with it but always wear contacts when I ride. It’s does well in the sun, so no need for sunglasses with it, I think.

Hi. I have a Shoei installed with a Pinlock and definitely appreciate it's anti-fogging capabilities. I live in the UK where it rains a LOT. When cleaning the helmet it looked like there was a bead of sealant around the pinlock. Is this needed or helpful? I have an added issue with fogging in that I wear glasses so I need to ensure those don't fog up instead. Love the helmets though and have headphones installed for phone, and Sat Nav.

Thanks for the simple clear instructions, though there are 2-3 warning panels in the Pinlock instructions recommending you don't install it with a tinted lens due to the loss of visibility

Its pretty much a clear, so visibility isn’t an issue.

I came to make sure I could flatten it out that much before installing.

Me too especially when the English version is hard to find.

Love the pinlock shield, I don't know how anyone can ride without it. If anyone has trouble with the seal I think the pins can be adjusted slightly to help that. Can't wait for spring! The temp here in central Iowa is 1, lol. I'm tired of it!

I have a question,i always had the pinlock in my helmet and its good and all that but i notice its becomes slightly unclear compare to a visor without a pinlock,also the edges of the pinlock do get in my way when looking on the road sometimes.Is it possible to ride most hot summer without one or does it still fogs up the helmet?

RE-L Mayer Should be ok to ride without it in summer. Cooler mornings might have fogging! This will be my first summer with it in, though.

I leave it in. They don’t work forever unfortunately.

Now all we've gotta learn FIRST: how to remove the helmet shield and then learn how to reinstall the helmet shield - since you couldn't show us either - except for reinstalling at warp 9.9 speed. Guess what my next KZread search will be .........
