Thanks for the video! Why do you prefer this over an electric sensor? And does the mechanical one also turn the fuel off when needed?

You're welcome. I choose the mechanical gauge for simplicity. In my opinion they are easy and always work. I've never wired up electric gauges so I'm just guessing a mechanical is eaiser to install. No, this gauge won't shut down the ignition or fuel if oil psi is low. This particular vehicle doesn't have that feature being a 1984. All the newer, fuel injection vehicles I've owned that had a feature like that have had factory gauges so I've never had to install an aftermarket gauge with that ability. Hope this helps .
