I used your video to learn how to put snaps in a wrist-let purse i made for my niece this year, which turned out great. Recently, I bought a purse from etsy with a magnetic clasp from one who did NOT attach it to an accent piece first, but just the lining. It started ripping out nearly right away and soon, i will have to mend my 'new' purse. I would think someone offering their wares on etsy would have a better understanding of how magnets work. I made mine like yours as it made sense to me they would rip out unless made out of leather. But, cant always see what you are buying in a small internet picture. I will have to take it apart and fix it soon and it is not even a month old. But i have confidence in the purse i made with YOUR instructions to be very solid. Thank you for a great tutorial! Let me know if you have an easy way to replace it without tearing the purse apart too much.

Am so very glad I found this video. I'm making a few purses and wallets. Am wanting to attach the sew - on magnetic snaps to them by adapting and using your method because it's so simple. I'll try it out but may use a decorative stitch -such as the honeycomb one - on my machine. TYSM for sharing this video with us. it has helped me a bunches. 👍😻
