Had to pipe up about metal-on-metal threads and using Teflon tape. If it has ANY o-rings, gaskets, or other sealing surfaces (like JIC or SAE), do NOT use sealant or tape. Sealant and tape are strictly for pipe threads because they have almost no sealing surface. There are exceptions to that in hydraulics. If you combine sealing methods you are pretty likely to have a leak eventually because it interferes with the sealing method. Kind of like never using Teflon tape on a garden hose. They have rubber washers to seal them.

Besides the no teflon tape needed on those threads, Straight stop valves should have been used instead of angle valves. I also would have soldered the valves instead of using compression. Also a smaller holesaw cut on the cabinet for the drain.

Straight valves for more direct flow and pressure? Angle valve would slow flow and pressure? I had similar situation with hose bib in yard. Straight one has lots of force of water coming out. Angle slows down water. But for rinsing stuff or hands it’s too much pressure.

Wow! That must've been a lot of work to film!!! I think it is amazing that I could now change a faucet... I really thought that was something that would be way harder. Also the showing before you do it so we can see, is great. Ty. A week ago I had a heart monitor for 30 days put on... and the woman " Explains " how to work it and change the monitor and the sticky part on your chest etc....she admittedly, has only been doing this part for a week and by time she was done " explaining" we were both confused and she puts the thing on my chest and says " push this button to turn on" its on my chest 🥴 I can't see it now. Lol I said never mind give me the book of instructions and I'll go see if dad how do I, has done a video about it lmaoooo ty for all your hard work and care.
