I currently have the yoke. I personally like it a lot, but it takes some time to get use to. But i'd like try this as well. It's good to have options for steering wheels for our Teslas. Thanks for the videos.

The air gap is about 1.5 inches at the top of the cyber wheel where the a/c airflow can pass thru.

What's the width of the new wheel vs original wheel? Does it block the view of the main screen too much due to the wider dimension?

The stock wheel is 14" diameter. This cyberwheel is 15" wide which is only 1/2" more per side so it doesn't impede your view of the main screen.

is the heating all-around? or is it just a portion of the wheel heated? another question: is it wider than the stock wheel that it blocks any of the screen? Thank you!

The heating is all around the steering wheel and it gets super warm. I'm very happy with the temperature. The stock wheel is 14" diameter. This cyberwheel is 15" wide which is only 1/2" more per side so it doesn't impede your view of the main screen.

Cool but everything but the stock wheel looks so dumb with stocks imho

Some people do think the stocks look out of place with the yoke, but with the cyber wheel, the stocks are more hidden behind the top handle.

Nice video! My install failed; the buttons and the horn no longer works. You didn't have to swap them out?

Oh man, sorry to hear that. I didn't have to swap mine out. All I had to do was transfer the heater controller over to the cyber steeringwheel. I did notice that the wire connector going to the scroll wheel was loose on mine so I had to crimp it down a little to make sure I had good contact.

Does the top portion of the wheel impede the airflow of the A/C vent? My concern is this portion being blocked when its hot out and the A/C is cranked up.

No issues. You can direct the fan through the top hole anyway. The top portion is narrow enough for the airflow to pass.

@@arisnavarro Awesome, thanks for the reply! I have a yoke currently and one of the small aftermarket displays above it. Going to remove the display as its blocking too much airflow in the summer heat and will probably swap to one of these wheels. Kind of miss the top of the wheel after having the yoke for the last 6 months, but love the straight bottom for autopilot.

I know... that's the reason I have been reluctant to purchase any of the heads up displays... I didn't want to block my airflow.

How does it feel? Thinking on getting one...

I'm already used to it. To me, it feels like a regular round steering wheel because it pretty much functions the same way. It just looks different.

@@arisnavarroI just installed mine and I am happy to say the lights are on. Not sure if they added the lights feature on the newer ones. Removing the OEM was a huge pain in the butt.

Looks wise, the yoke does look bad ass! Functionality, it's limited.
